Experience the picturesque Yarra Valley with us, Dancing Kangaroo Tours. We focus on quality experiences by bringing guests together through yummy wines, top tour guiding and amazing service.
On this tour, you'll enjoy wine tastings at four premium hand-picked wineries representing a mix of acclaimed and boutique producers such as Yering Station, Soumah, Helen & Joey, Payten & Jones and much more.
Enjoy a delightful two-course lunch (shared antipasto & individual mains with sides) with a complimentary glass of wine at a charming winery.
We end the day the renowned Yarra Valley Chocolate & Ice-Cream Factory for a bit of cheeky self-indulgence.
Now to spice things up and for a small additional fee per person, on most days you can switch the fourth winery stop to enjoy tastings at either Four Pillars Gin Distillery (select "CLASSIC WINE and GIN" option - available 7-days a week) or Watts River Brewery (select "CLASSIC WINE and BEER" option - available Thursday to Monday only).

LUNCH usually includes shared antipasto platters followed by individual mains with a glass of wine. Occasionally, mains are shared with sides instead. Please contact us regarding any dietary requirements or concerns.

NOTE: There are FLIES in Australia in Summer! Please don't pick this tour if you let some flies upset you.
NOTE: It can actually be HOT/SUNNY in Summer! Please don't pick this tour if you cannot tolerate the heat and alcohol.

We am to depart at 9:00AM so please plan your trip accordingly to avoid delays. TIP to getting here: From Flinders Street Station, walk across the Princes Bridge towards the Arts Centre Melbourne Spire and wait near the Protagonist Cafe at the front there.
Yering Station
On most days, this is one of our winery visits. We'll enjoy a tasting here with an opportunity to explore their lovely estate. Yering Station is a renowned winery in the Yarra Valley, offering a wide range of high-quality wines including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon. Established in 1838, the winery features a stunning estate and historic cellar door, providing visitors with a unique wine-tasting experience. In addition to wine, Yering Station also offers fine dining at their restaurant and hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

5.00We had a great day doing the Yarra Valley wine tasting and chocolate tour. The wineries were excellent and offered a great selection of wines (and at reasonable prices). Ruben and Shaun were excellent as tour guides and I would heartily recommend this tour to anyone visiting Melbourne.

5.00This wasn’t my first time visiting Yarra Valley, but it was definitely the most fun and fulfilling one! Even though I joined the tour solo, I was super lucky to meet a group of really friendly and fun people from all over the world. After a few rounds of wine, everyone quickly became friends and the vibe was just amazing. Huge shoutout to our guide, Stefan (hope I spelled it right)! He was great from the very beginning, sharing lots of interesting info about Melbourne and even trying his best to help us spot kangaroos and wombats (sadly, no luck that day). You could really tell he cared about everyone, even during lunchtime. This was also the winery tour where I got to try the most wines ever—four wineries and around 20 tastings (if I remember correctly 😆). So much fun! The Tasmanian salmon I chose for lunch was also delicious. Highly recommend this tour! Whether you’re traveling solo or with friends, you’re guaranteed to have a great time.

5.00Stefan was an incredibly funny and knowledgeable guide who shepherded us from stop to stop with personality and aplomb. The tour felt like a genuinely shared experience with our fellow passengers and it was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve had doing a tour.

5.00Full day immersion into the Yarra Valley Wine scene. We wine tasted at 4) distinct wineries, enjoyed a great lunch and capped it off with some great ice cream at a chocolate factory. Our guide Mike was funny, enthusiastic and engaging throughout the day.
