Discover the real essence of the Tuscan countryside, driving through amazing postcard views; departing from Florence, in a small group, that means top comfort and quality, you will see Greve in Chianti, you will have a guided visit to 3 of the best wine estate, you will enjoy a genuine Tuscan light lunch, and you will taste and compare different wines, olive oil and other typical products. This unique experience will finish with your trip back to Florence in the afternoon.

Due to uneven surfaces, and a few stairs to access wine cellars, this tour is not recommended for those with walking disabilities or using a wheelchair

In case the mentioned wineries are not available, we will choose estates in the same area and with the same level/quality.

Return at departure point: approx. 5:00pm. To reserve other activities, allow plenty of time, in case of heavy traffic, etc.

Luggage can be stored on the bus during the tour, if needed

Minimum age to join the tour is 12 years old; infants are not allowed

For cruise ship passengers only: if your ship docks at Livorno or La Spezia Port, be advised that the driving time to the meeting point in Florence is approx. 2 hours. Before booking, be sure your ship schedule works with our departure times, and you have your own transportation arranged from the port to Florence and back.

What To Expect

Florence

After having meet your guide and your travel companions in Florence depart in the direction of the Tuscan wine country. During the ride your guide will explain the schedule of your day.

Tenuta Riseccoli

After a 45 minutes ride, you will stop to Riseccoli, an organic and family owned, hilltop winery; the estate is the expression of the quintessential beauty of Tuscany; rolling hills planted with vines and olive trees, Mediterranean forests and farmhouses scattered against an idyllic backdrop. Here after the visit you will taste a selection of their wines and olive oil.

The Chianti All Day Wine Tour was everything we hoped it would be. We were so lucky to explore the beautiful countryside with David as our tour guide and Sergio as our driver. They made it fun and easy to really get to know the other travelers! Great day! Highly recommend!

This was a great tour! Our driver Alex and guide Jason were so fun. Jason kept everyone entertained on the bus and checked in regularly with us at the wineries. We went to three great wineries and learned a lot about wine making especially for Chianti. I really enjoyed the lunch at the second winery with food that paired well with the wine. We stopped in Greve for a coffee and to explore a little Tuscan town. This tour is a great way to see the Tuscan countryside and sample really good Chianti and olive oil. This was one of the highlights of my vacation.

Amazing experience. One of our favorite in Florence. Really great way to see the Tuscan countryside. You go to 3 really boutique wineries whose wines you can't find in the states.

This was probably one of the highlights of our italy vacation! We thoroughly enjoyed the day of learning, great company, and soaking in the beautiful Tuscan wine region. Our tour guide, Ralph, was entertaining and made the day a great one! The tastings were well done and the countryside was breathtakingly beautiful!

We had a fantastic time with Valentina where we toured 3 wineries across the Chianti region. She is very knowledgeable about the wine, wine growing/making process and the region in general. We were able to learn a lot and try a variety of wines throughout the day. Would definitely recommend again!
