Exciting Jeep tour and walk on the crests of the craters in search of hornito and lava flow caves until reaching the wonderful view of the prehistoric Valle del Bove to discover the origins of the Etna volcano.

We had a memorable day driving through the streets of Sicily on our trip to Mt. Etna. Along the way we stopped at Bar Rapisarda. The owners are true artisans and I believe I tasted the most delicious cannoli I have ever had in my life. Our second stop was Mondifeso, a charming local winery with a storied history. We were able to learn more about the unique nature of how grapes are grown for the Etna wines and also taste what makes them so special. As we continued our journey Alessandro treated us to background and history of Mt. Etna that made the trip to the mountain come alive. We couldn’t have asked for more from a tour guide who was not only a skilled driver and story-teller, but also an amusing and entertaining selfie-expert! Thank you Alessandro for a great day!

Alessandro’s super friendly and knowledgeable of everything Sicilian and especially for this trip - Mt Etna! He made this excursion fun while educational and took very good care of my group of 4 friends. Highly recommend him for your trip to mt etna!

Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate with us and it was very foggy on the mountain so we were limited on what we could see and do. However, we still had a great tour and learned a lot about the volcano, the area, and wines. The group we were paired with arrived in shorts and sandals , please come prepared for the activity!

This was the best tour of our holiday. Alessandro was our guide and what he doesn’t know about volcanoes isn’t worth knowing. We experienced being snowed on and in strong gusting winds and we enjoyed it all. We even enjoyed being in a crater. We also learned so much of the history of the area. Tasting of the local wines and lemonchello was a treat too. Thank you so much Alessandro.

This tour to Mt Etna exceeded all our expectations.To start with home made Cannoli then wine and oil tasting.Going into the lava tubes was fabulous.To top it off it snowed at the top of Mt Etna.Our Guide Alessandro was fantastic.His knowledge about Volcanoes was unbelievable.
