We, Chris and Barabra will guide you on this tour. Real locals who love their villages and will give you an authentic experience a stone's throw from Taormina, but where you will see the quiet life of the Sicilians. We are waiting for you with open arms for a fun day together. We can't tell you everything, otherwise where would the magic end up?

Food and wine tour from Taormina Hi we are Chris and Barbara, Sicilian husband and wife. We created this tour to help you discover the food and wine traditions of our small villages at the foot of Etna, about 30 minutes from Taormina. The tour will last 7 hours and starting from Taormina the first stop will be in Linguaglossa and then in Randazzo, these two locations will be the protagonists of this tour. These are still authentic places far from the usual tourist itineraries, where you can get to know a piece of real Sicily by meeting some local people and producers of Sicilian excellence. On this tour you will be able to: - Meet real locals. - Taste olive oil from Etna, in Linguaglossa. - Taste the typical Etna hazelnuts and some hazelnut creams. These two tastings will both take place on a small farm, immersed in a forest of centuries-old hazelnut trees. -Meet a shepherd and taste the hot ricotta and the typical cheese from the Nebrodi Mountains in a family dairy. - Taste the real Sicilian artisan granita and the ricotta cannoli in an artisan pastry shop. - Have a typical lunch in a farmhouse or in a Etna Winery. Depending on the period, there may be some variations.

We had the most amazing experience with Barbara and Chris! It was an absolute pleasure to spend the day with this delightful couple and experience Sicily the way that they do. Our stops included a local bakery, hazelnut farm, where we also tasted several olive oils, a dairy farm, small town exploration with granite, and an incredible lunch. We counted that we had 24 different items to taste and sample! All of this at the foot of Mount Etna and hearing all of their stories. We highly recommend this tour!

The best possible experience in the hillside towns outside if Taormina. Chris and Barbara were fantastic guides and we had several one of a kind stops for great food.

We (two couples) had an amazing time with Chris and Barbara on this tour. They promptly picked us up at our airbnb in Taormina and then we set off for an entire day of adventures together. We did so many things- bakery, dairy farm to taste cheese, traditional eastern Sicilian breakfast of granita and brioche, olive farm and tasting, lunch at a winery. We visited beautiful towns and learned interesting things about Sicily. Chris and Barbara were wonderful hosts and would highly recommend this tour. It was a hi-light of our two week trip.

Chris and Barbara could not have been nicer or more accommodating. We needed to do the trip on an abbreviated schedule, and they were gracious and kind. We visited a cheese maker and an olive vineyard, with lovely tastings at both. We then had lunch at an authentic country restaurant, where we sampled many local specialties. Unfortunately we had to miss a wine vineyard visit due to our schedule. We did visit the towns where each of them are from, and we even learned a little of the Sicilian language! We would recommend them highly for a truly enjoyable introduction to real Sicilian culture.
This is the real Sicily!

My niece and I had the best day on this tour with Barbara and Chris. We were introduced to local food artisans who shared the passion of their crafts with us. They taught us how to buy the bread, the proper way to sample olive oils, showed us how hazelnuts are grown and gathered, immersed us in the making of cheese, the delights of granita, and fed us with the most amazing foods and wines. Chris and Barbara are warm and truly seemed to enjoy showing us the real side of their beloved homelands.

Barbara and Chris are wonderful hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with them. They took us for tastings to small, family producers of hazelnuts, cheese, olive oil, granita and wine. Places where tourists (or most Sicilian residents) would never have access. Highly recommend this tour!

The entire experience was excellent. Chris and Barbara are true professionals and their love of Sicily shows . From the start, they communicated promptly and clearly . The tour was one of our favorite days of our vacation. It was not only interesting but fun! All of the stops of the day were excellent. The farms , vineyard granita , bakery are all hidden gems . I wouldn’t change a thing about the day Don’t hesitate to book this tour with the adorable Chris and Barbara . It is totally worth the price .
