We reach the base of the craters from which the most important eruption of the last decades on the north side of the volcano has started. We cross the flow that emerges from these lateral craters, along an evocative path that runs alongside the lava flow channel, a deep canyon engraved by the huge magmatic mass that has invaded and partially destroyed the centuries-old Ragabo pine forest.

5.00My partner and I took a guided tour of Mount Etna using Gruppo Guide Etna Nord, our guide was Fabio for this excursion, I can only say it was superb, Fabio's passion for the mountain, and his incredible knowledge of volcanic activity including the chemistry was amazing. He also ensured we got the most our of the day visiting as many areas/craters of the volcano as the Sulphur/wind combination would allow Beforehand the communication was perfect, could not ask for more - what a great day!

5.00A wonderful trek to witness the awesome power of nature first hand. Get your shot of adrenaline. 5 stars! Knowledgeable guides and amazing nature. I cant recommend highly enough. Book the summit rather than the 3000m to get the most wonderful sights.

5.00It was a beautiful and engaging experience and the Marco guide was prepared and available. We took an interesting tour and saw the craters of the 2002 eruption up close. Marco also lectured on the flora of the Etna park. I highly recommend it.

5.00Superb ascent of Mount Etna with a guide who speaks French (Fabio). He stopped often enough for us to rest and give us explanations about Etna and vulcanology. Very friendly and warm guide. If necessary, there is a loan of hiking shoes, windbreakers and sticks at no extra charge.

5.00Amazing experience! To do absolutely, we were 5 friends, we started from piano Provenzana (Linguaglossa), first off-road section and then climbed on foot. The landscape is unique, lunar, and the whole experience deserves a lot. Perfect also the guide (Fabio). In short: super recommended, good!

5.00Led by an exceptional Giò, with the supervision of the "Capo dei Capi" Biagio and the coordination of Maricò, we were accompanied for three unforgettable days around and on top of Etna.
