Trip note
It is important to be noted that the Kathmandu -Lukla - Kathmandu flights often gets delayed by hours or even gets cancelled for a day or few days due to unfavorable weather conditions in the mountain airstrip Lukla. Such unfavorable conditions may arise even during the best seasons including months October and November hence inis always better to prepare ahead. In such cases, you must be prepared for long waits either at Kathmandu or Lukla airports, as this can happen either at the start or at the end of the trek and sometime in both cases.
We will do our best to avoid such delays, and arrange the earliest next flight for you but it might not always work well as there are many people in que for days long. In case of emergencies and need of urgent flight, the Helicopter rescue can be another option to escape to and from the mountain, except for some bad weather the Helicopters always have easy excess in the mountains. This can be arranged upon your request with some additional cost which sometime is covered by your insurance as well. The Helicopter can be chartered from both the airports, Kathmandu and Lukla with the tentative cost of US$ 3000 per lift which at a time can accommodate maximum of 5 Person.
Having said this, we still suggest you to mentally prepare for possible delay/cancellations and arrange some extra contingency days which we can save for the end of the trip and if everything goes normal these days can be utilized for exploring other beautiful destinations around the valley as per your interest and we, the Adventure Bound is always there to provide you different options to utilize the days in best ways.
All sales are final. No refund is available for cancellations.

It was my first time traveling alone and trekking abroad, so I was a little nervous before I left. However, thanks to our guide Suresh, who spoke cheerfully to us, we were able to enjoy the activity from the bottom of our hearts without feeling nervous during the trek! They looked after me in detail to make sure I didn't change my physical condition, and they taught me how to take medication for altitude sickness, so I could continue my journey with peace of mind throughout. The next time you trek, I would like to ask this tour company/guide!

Laxman the business owner made the effort to come to our hotel to present his offer. The service he offered was clear and well detailed. We had 2 nights in Namche Bazar and Dingboche which was very important to allow for high altitude acclimatization in order to avoid Acute Mountain Sickness. The day before departure, Laxman and our guide Raman came to our hotel to look at our gear. We were provided with duffle bags for the porter, down jackets and sleeping bags. Then we went shopping with our guide to buy crampons, Nalgene bottles, wind jacket, trek pants, water sanitation pills and trekking poles. Raman helped us pack just what we needed, not more, not less. I decided to do this trek after watching the movie Everest about the 1996 tragedy. I was able to relive the first part of the movie, through the Nepal scenic, the suspended bridges, the yaks, the stairs, tea houses, helicopters… I took so many great photos. I am 65yo and I found the trek hard, spending most of the time walking or resting, not much time for socializing, but I did it and it was an unforgettable and unbelievable experience. With the company of Ramon I found myself very safe and in competent hands.

We did Everest Base Camp Trek with Adventure Bound Nepal and it was an absolutely unforgettable trip! From day one we felt well looked after all around. The organization was excellent – everything went smoothly, stress-free and incredibly warm. A special thanks goes to our guide Raj. He was not only professional and experienced, but also a real person of heart. Raj always took time for us, answered every question, motivated us when things got exhausting, and at the same time told us an incredible amount about local culture, Buddhism and mountain life. You could tell that he loves his profession and practices it with great responsibility. Without him, this trip would not have been the same. The trek itself was breathtaking. We will never forget the views of the Himalayan peaks – especially the morning hours in the clear, cool air when the mountains glow in the sunlight. The accommodations were all great. Sitting together in the Teahouses in the evening, sharing stories and slowly climbing higher towards Base Camp was an experience that touched us deeply. Everest Base Camp Trek is physically demanding, but due to the excellent support and good altitude management we always felt safe. We have not only climbed mountains, but also created precious memories – of nature, encounters and the feeling of growing beyond ourselves. We can recommend Adventure Bound Nepal and especially our guide Raj with complete conviction. We would always travel with them again – and we already know: Nepal sees us again! 🇳🇵❤️

From mid-October, my father and I joined Adventure Bound's Everest Base Camp trek. It was my first time trekking abroad, but I was able to discuss every detail in Japanese before I left Japan by email, so I was able to proceed with preparations with great peace of mind. During the trek, our guide, who is fluent in Japanese, adjusted the pace of the trek so that we would not get altitude sickness, and also took frequent tea breaks, which allowed us to safely reach our destinations, Everest Base Camp and Kalapatar. Trekking on the Everest Road is a very different environment from mountaineering in Japan, so the presence of guides and porters is really significant. Having a reliable guide made me truly feel safe and comfortable trekking. I also told them that I wanted to go to Lumbini after returning from the trek, and they were very helpful in arranging domestic flights and booking hotels quickly. During my stay in Kathmandu, I was able to visit all the places I wanted to visit thanks to the hotel owners and helpful staff who are fluent in Japanese, which made my trip to Nepal truly satisfying. If you're thinking about trekking or travelling in Nepal, I'd definitely encourage you to talk to Adventure Bound.

I was already hyped for the Trek and still, it was better than I imagined. Trekking to EBC for 10 days was obviously no vacation with 4 Star hotels, but it was still worth every penny. The landscapes, the people and our guide Santosh were a 10/10. We also had some issues because of the weather, but Adventure bound made it possible that we could do all the things we really wanted. It was a hard trek but I’d recommend it to everyone and I will definitely visit Nepal again! Thanks.

With Adventure Bound, we were able to experience a very well organized trek to Everest Base Camp in October 2025. From planning (with Laxman) to implementation, there are no complaints. Our guide Santosh has always responded to our wishes/suggestions for change and has guided us confidently up to the EBC. We can recommend Adventure Bound and especially Santosh to anyone. A big thank you to Adventure Bound and the whole team for this unforgettable experience. Many greetings, Alexander and Thomas

He was very kind and taught me a lot. I was worried about the EBC trek because I was on my own, but thanks to Raj's advice and arrangements, I was able to reach my goal of EBC and watch the sunset in Kalapatar. It was a wonderful experience I will never forget. As a Japanese, I didn't have much confidence in English, but RajHe spoke very good Japanese and was very trustworthy, so he was able to ask for a lot of things while travelling. Once again, I want to say thank you to Raj from Adventure Bound. We would love to recommend it to everyone, so please feel free to contact us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I had a guided tour of Lukla-Kara Patar arranged. I originally considered walking without a guide, but with heavy trouble along the way, I would not have been able to do it without the support of Adventure Bound. The support is high quality. I recommend it to hikers all over the world. A flight from Kathmandu to Lukla has been cancelled due to bad weather, delaying entry to Everest Road for two full days. It was a great help for a foreigner who was unfamiliar with the idea of leaving it up to the tour company and accompanying guides to find alternative flights and accommodation. He also suffered from a mild altitude sickness as he increased in altitude, and caught a cold on his way back. Jaya, an excellent guide, gave me peace of mind and a cold medicine. I was impressed with Jaya's spirit of service, from the food to the food. As a Japanese hiker, the presence of the Japanese staff, Mr. Yasuda, was also a big factor. It was easy to ask detailed questions, and the replies were quick & courteous before we started the tour. The boss, Mr Laxman, is also a very humble gentleman.

My shoes broke before we crossed the pass, but our guide, Raj, arranged for me to speak to the owner and get new shoes, so I was able to continue my journey. Our guide, Raj, is a very kind person and well-known, so I was able to make friends with the other guides and staff at the hut, and I had a great time on this mountain trip.

In September I completed the trekking tour to Everest Base Camp and continued on to the Gokyo Lakes. These 17 days were truly unforgettable – the stunning nature, the delicious food along the way, and the encounters with wonderful people made this journey an absolute dream. I was especially lucky to have Rabin as my guide. From the very beginning he was professional, reliable, and always attentive. He shared so much knowledge about the mountains, made sure I felt safe at all times, and guided me through the Himalayas with great care. Thanks to him I was able to enjoy the trek fully and without worries. I can highly recommend Rabin to anyone planning a trek in Nepal with him, you are in the best hands.
