  We had a 30 minute ride in a loop. The boat just meandered through the water. We expected an actual ride especially since they have 2-225 hp engines. All the captain did was move the boat left and right. This was an extreme disappointment as we were very excited to do the boat ride.

• Ridiculous wait times

  When we arrived on a Monday the place was swamped (pun there) with people. We were told our pre booked (and paid for) airboat ride would require a 1-1.5hr wait. I asked for a refund and they said no as we had booked through a third party. I booked directly on their website and it automatically directs you to a third party and charges you for the privilege! About half the airboats were parked up making the delay worse. In the end we waited over 3 hours and the tour lasted 30mins not the one hour stated. Not worth the bother but the wait is a nice earner for the 'park' (it's not a park) as they get to sell more drinks and food.

• Not worth your time or money

  Complete waste of time. Of the 3 hours we spent at the venue most of it was spent waiting. The alligator "show" was less than 10 minutes followed by a 2 hour wait for a boat ride that itself was only 20 minutes long. The airboat tour was underwhelming—a short loop around a small area, with multiple boats moving in a line. The alligators appeared completely accustomed to the constant noise and traffic, barely reacting at all. There’s very little to do at the park beyond a small wildlife exhibit, which had several empty enclosures. As a result, most of our time was spent trying to find a place to sit. Seating is limited, and so is shade or shelter—something that would make the experience even worse in poor weather. The café was also disappointing, offering overpriced fried food, with many menu items already sold out. Overall, I would strongly recommend saving your time and money and choosing literally any other activity.

  Everglades Holiday Park is a wonderful destination that delivers an authentic and memorable Florida experience for visitors of all ages. Whether you are a tourist exploring South Florida for the first time or a local looking for a fun day out, this place has something for everyone. The facilities are comfortable and well organized. You will find a convenience store stocked with snacks and refreshments, a gift shop with great souvenirs, food options on site, a marina with docking facilities for boats, and a variety of attractions to keep the whole family busy. Getting there is easy and the layout makes it very accessible and enjoyable from the moment you arrive. The real star of the experience is the airboat tour. Gliding through the Everglades with the wind in your face and the stunning natural landscape all around you is something truly special. It is exciting, educational and completely unique. Kids absolutely love it. If you are in South Florida and have not been to Everglades Holiday Park, put it on your list immediately.   The airboat tour was great, we saw lots of wildlife, had a knowledgeable guide and a good time. The other half of the experience is a 0/10 for the ‘show’.

  It was a horrible experience!! 2nd year in a row. When i booked thru Paradise I understood i was going to the Everglades!! Not here! I knew this place was awful from last year!!!

  Our Guide Gary was entertaining and knowledgeable about the various wild life The grandkids were delighted to see alligators in the water, one of them loved when the captain did a fast speed run on the airboat. We also saw the show that was also enjoyable and educational. All in all we had a great time

  George, the gator speaker in the cage with rescued gators, was absolutely amazing. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, and made our trip! He is incredible. Thank you!

  Cool experience but waiting was disorganized. Never calendar number to line up for the airboat and had to keep asking

  We did the airboat ride and gator show as well as getting a free family photo. Our tour guide Anna was very informative during our ride as well as pointing out alligators and different bird species. The airboat had a covering that helped having the sun shining directly on you. The gator show was amazing as well. The entire family enjoyed the experience.
