Chimi Lhakhang Temple
Bhutan can be quite a scandalous place! It is possibly, the only place where Phalluses are worn as charms! I swear! They are! And if you find this first line shocking, well, then a quick alert before you proceed to read this post. While there is nothing obscene about the post, it could get you uncomfortable. If you do decide to read on, you are likely to enjoy the fascinating tales of the Fertility Temple of Bhutan – the Chimi Lhakhang. Once you hear the stories, you will realize why the public display of these private parts is not so unusual in Bhutan.
Punakha Dzong
The Punakha Dzong, also known as Pungtang Dewa chhenbi Phodrang, is the administrative centre of Punakha District in Punakha, Bhutan. Behind Punakha Dzong stretches the Punakha Suspension Bridge, the longest of its kind in Bhutan. The bridge connects the dzong with the villages on the other bank of the Po Chhu river -- Shengana, Samdingkha, and Wangkha -- where traces of the Divine Madman Drukpa Kuenley can still be found, in the form of local stories, monasteries and markings on rocks. In these small villages, locals sell their wares in tiny, traditional shops. Visitors can stop here for a quick and authentic view of true Bhutan. In order to access the suspension bridge from the dzong, one must walk past the King’s palace and the cremation ground.

Many of us had a first experience in Bhutan. Nevertheless, we couldn’t expect any better hospitality than Bhutan Dyang Adventure. We were a group of 19 female aging from 20-65 including a baby. Our needs were different, and they continued to fulfill all the demands. Hotels at Phoentsholing was extraordinary, Thimpu hotel and location was also great. They took care of our food habit and provided all the meals in buffet. In Thimpu the owners themselves came to meet us and provided us a car for a night sight experience. They included all the beautiful sight seeing that many others won't be able to provide. We were invited to a traditional Bhutanese cultural program which was outstanding and arranged only for us. We also got Bhutan's traditional food as a treat two times. Our whole group can't but thank you enough for providing a whole taste of the beautiful country in just five days!! I won't forget to mention that all the privileges were given at the cheapest rate. I'm sure no other can give such experience better than them. Bhutan Dyang Adventure is the best and we'll again do our trip with you soon!! Love and good wishes from Bangladesh 💕 💕

As everyone who travels for the first time solo, I was also apprehensive about the trip. I had heard Bhutan is safe country but I was all alone and it seemed a bit daunting. My entire trip was pre-booked and it was one of the most amazing trips I have ever had. I was received by Tashi and Sam at the Bagdogra airport which I thought was rare as it was going to be just a pick up. They made sure everything was more than comfortable for me. To add to it they kept the trip flexible and customised it as per my liking. not only are they great hosts but are even better singers :P For those who don't know there are some Karoake parlours that we went to and they gave some original artists a run for their money. I highly, highly recommend.

Though Dyangadventure is new in their field but they have experienced guides and drivers which can make any journey memorable. I traveled solo and grateful to Mr Tashi' planning that made my journey comfortable. I was stunned with the serenity and natural beauty of Bhutan. Picturesque landscapes mesmerized me in such a way that I would revisit it soon. For a wonderful experience I would like to thanks Mr Tashi, Jigme(guide) and Mr Namgey.

A great trip organiser. Very flexible with itinerary. They took good care and arranged everything pretty well. Also are very flexible with any sudden plans and changes with itinerary. Friendly tour guide and very professional driver made the trip memorable. Being a female solo traveler, I had a great experience and absolutely no worries about safety or anything else. Bhutan is a beautiful country and a trip with such good organisers made this trip very memorable.

Mr. Tashi Dorji arranged a memorable trip for our family - my husband, myself, our parents and 2 kids! We visited Thimphu, Punakha + Phobjikha valley, Paro + Haa valley in June 2019. Mr. Tashi understood our requirements very well and planned the complete 10d, 9n trip for us, including the hotels, breakfast, dinner, the car, driver, an english speaking guide. He took care of our permit to Punkha. He took care of each and every small request that we made towards him and his team before and during the trip. The trip was flexible and very much suited to our requirements. My mother in law got fever dying the last two days of the trip and the team was very supportive to take him to the Paro Hospital for checkup. Bhutan is beautiful. However, there isn't much of public transport around. So it is good to plan the trip with support from a local agent in advance.
