This full-day tour begins with a convenient pick-up from your Bangkok hotel and takes you to two of the country's most iconic attractions: the bustling Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and the the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi.
Start your day with a visit to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where you can glide through canals on a long-tail boat, explore colorful stalls, and experience the local way of life. Enjoy opportunities to shop for fresh produce, handmade crafts, and delicious Thai snacks while surrounded by the lively atmosphere of this famous market.
Next, head to Kanchanaburi to explore the poignant history of the River Kwai. Visit the JEATH War Museum, learn about the hardships endured by WWII prisoners of war, and walk across the iconic Bridge over the River Kwai.
A delicious Thai lunch at a local restaurant is included, making this tour a perfect blend of culture, history, and local flavors.

*Please note - Departs Kanchanaburi approx. 4.30pm. and will reach Bangkok approx 7.00pm. Timing depends on traffic conditions. It is not recommended that you make plans for the early evening in Bangkok in case bad traffic/weather delays your return time back to Bangkok.

If you have mobility problems, you may have difficulties getting into or out of the long-tailed speedboat. Please advise your guide of this at the commencement of the tour. Your guide will arrange for the driver to take you to the Bridge by road instead.

5.00very good trip, guide extra good, 5 star, some great memories, elephant ride a bonus, see where the train comes in at train market another bonus, The floating market great fun. 5.00The guide NUI who met us at the hotel was the star of the day. He was an extremely knowledgeable rep. He was so experienced and motivated that now we could almost write a thesis about Thailand and its history. He was worth the trip by himself. Never seen a guide so passionate. The bridge on the River Kwai was a brilliant experience. Of course, the floating market is something worth experiencing. This is a long day but worth it to see the 2 best areas of Thailand. Tip - Make time to try the coconut ice cream at the market

4.00Good tour, well communicated. The tour guide & driver were on time and took us to see the sites. Many things to see as you motor through the waters and good things to eat! My only offering would be for the van to stock water. It states that they don't, but they were the only tour we had that didn't offer water and the Thai sun was pretty brutal and it would have made the tour better.
Long day, but fascinating glimpse of history! Get a private tour, avoid the crowds

5.00We really loved this tour and so glad we choose the private tour as our guide, Ms Julie was great. Full of useful information throughout the day. She took us to see the railway markets which was a bonus as we wanted to see this and she made a detour for us. The River Kwai bridge and cemetery was spine chilling to think what these people went through. The market was also a great experience and we went over to the food section as a bonus. Very unique experience.
