  The boat tour was amazing and Max as the captain was the best. Went to many caves, stopped for lunch and tour of a town. Max was so much fun and provided great details of the area. Also his playlist was perfect. Highly recommend Max and you will have a fantastic day!!

  Captain Max was professional, courteous and inviting from the second he met us on the dock. He worked quickly to repeat and use each name of the couples in our party and seemed intentional in including each person during the tour, using our individual names to address us. His knowledge of the sites on and near the water was easy to understand and presented confidently. He made a stop for lunch, recommended a fantastic restaurant and even walked us around the center of the city before departing back to the “home” dock. His boat driving skills were smooth and intentional, caring for our needs (not splashing unless we asked for it … LOL). I would recommend Max to anyone!

  Our private boat trip with Max was the highlight of our trip to Portugal. From the time of booking to meeting at the boat, communication was great. Max even sent us a link to parking the day before our trip - every step was seamless. The coastline was breathtaking! The cliffs, the caves, and the crystal clear water were even better than we expected. Max provided the perfect picnic onboard including wines, soft drinks, fresh fruit, and gourmet snacks.   We had an extraordinary tour with Max, who showed us some of the most beautiful scenery along the Algarve coast. It was an incredible day, with a lunch stop at a wonderful place!   This private boat tour was the highlight of our trip. We were worried about doing a full day boat trip with small kids but Max our guide was excellent with keeping them engaged and excited the entire time. The kids left yearning for more which says a lot coming off of a full day trip! This one is not to be skipped when in Algarve. We will redo in a heart beat whenever we return to Portugal. Thank you Max for your great spirit and amazing hospitality.

  We had a wonderful day on the water with Max! From the moment he greeted us on the dock until we arrived back on shore it felt like we were out with an old friend. We had our 3 year old Granddaughter with us and he went out of his way to engage with her and make it a special trip. The boat was very comfortable for the 7 of us onboard and the ability to go onto the caves was fabulous. When we went to the beach for snacks and wine it was a perfect setting.   We had the most incredible day out on the water with Captain Max and it felt special from the moment we set off. Exploring the sea caves along the coast was absolutely stunning, and Captain Max made the whole experience feel really relaxed and personal rather than like a typical tour. There was something about the way he guided us through it all- it felt effortless, like we were being shown all the best spots without even having to ask. Stopping in Alvor for lunch was such a highlight. It’s such a beautiful little fishing village, and the oysters were unbelievable. They were so fresh and one of those moments where you just sit back and think, this is exactly where I want to be. We ended the day watching the sunset from the boat, which was completely magical. The light, the calm sea, the atmosphere… it all felt a little bit dreamy. It didn’t feel like a standard boat trip at all, it was much more personal, thoughtful, and genuinely memorable.   It was an amazing day with Max. He shared local knowledge with us and gave us a great tour through the caves and to Alvor for lunch where we had a delicious selection of cheeses, meat and spreads.
