Experience an unforgettable evening on board of our traditional Dhow Sailing boats. We will sail from Kendwa beach along the north coast of Zanzibar passing the coast line of Kendwa, Nungwi and neighbouring villages. While we start in the golden sun in the late afternoon, you will experience a smooth sail into the sunset hours. Our team will anchor in a calm spot to prepare a fresh seafood bbq dinner for you, while you can lounge on the spacious deck of our boat and enjoy the exclusive views and some cold drinks of your choice. After dinner you will slowly return back to the starting point, taking in the breathtaking views and glimmering lights of the coast.
Our team on board are an experienced crew that puts the needs of our clients and their safety as their top priority. We are happy to arrange for any special wishes you may have, knowing that this trip offers the perfect spot for celebrating any special event you may have.

5.00The crew of the Dada gave our family of 6 (all adults) a wonderful sunset cruise. Sailing on a traditional wooden dhow was amazing. We didn’t have an awesome sunset, but the excellent food (prepared by the crew on the boat), drinks (cold and plentiful), music (our own selections on their Bluetooth speakers), and warm hospitality of the crew made for a really fun and memorable experience!

5.00Great atmosphere, delicious food, and an outstanding crew – many thanks to Sultan, Minje and Mjumbe, who took such great care of us on the boat. Communication with Zanzibar Dhow was excellent from start to finish. It was an absolutely fantastic and unforgettable experience! We highly recommend the sunset cruise!

5.00Forget the usual tours of the island. Our sunrise dinner was wonderful from beginning to end. Starting with team education. All very polite and courtesy. The food was delicious, everything prepared on time, fresh and extremely clean. The taste was unmatched. Our boat was beautifully decorated and very clean. I would like to point out that, unlike other tours, at no time the team suggested paying through the "tip box". The drawer I gave was free and spontaneous because of the Service provided which was excellent!

5.00This was such a fun experience. The crew was amazing, and very warm, welcoming, and accommodating. The food was the best food we’ve had in Tanzania; my wife, who doesn’t like seafood, thought the lobster and calamari were both incredible. They're also very responsive over email. We had a few questions during and after booking, and they always responded promptly.

5.00The cutest experience. Travelling to Zanzibar, we wanted to something exceptional and this was exactly that. The crew was amazing - a huge shout out to Wendy, Idris and S. Truly amazing people !!! The food - tasty tasty. First time having lobster and it was nice. Wouldn’t try it again but it was good. The veggie stew that was prepared, along with the calamari, were the star of the show. I still think about it. Don’t hestitate. Book this experience today!!!!!

5.00Fabulous trip picked up on time great crew on the boat great food music and celebration. Loved just chillin out as the sun went down then anchored and had a fabulous bbq meal. Well worth the money

5.00AMAZING!!! If you are considering this experience- DO IT! The communication via Viator with Matthew was prompt, our ride to and from was efficient, and the boat experience was amazing. John, Crispo, and Sayed (I’m sure I spelled those incorrectly) were professional but so FUN to be with. They certainly know their way around the waters in a safe manner, but make sure you’re having a blast while sailing. We asked them to play their own music, and we all danced the night away learning about their culture. Best part- THE FOOD. The best food in Zanzibar is on this boat. We had vegetable curry, calamari curry, chicken and kambakochi grilled right on the charcoal fire on the boat. They even surprised us at the end with a cake for our honeymoon.
