We will endeavour to offer a personalised service and cater for special requirements. After landing we will relax and enjoy the countryside with a picnic breakfast where we will serve tradition cuisine and celebrate the flight with champagne.

Fit to fly We are not qualified to express an opinion confirming you are fit to fly and you must ensure that you are fit to fly. Balloon flights require you standing and being able to walk out of a field. We will however endeavour to assist should this be required. You must not fly if you are suffering from any serious medical condition or have recently undergone surgery unless you have a certificate of fitness to fly from your doctor.

You must not fly if you are pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

For operational purposes there will a surcharge for passengers whose weight exceeds 100kg, if you think this may be the case please call us.

1 Hour Breathtaking Balloon Flight along the Algarve Coast. We ride the winds of the barrocal valleys in the western Algarve or the warmer breezes of the rolling hills of the Baixo Alentejo. Travelling at the same speed as the wind you will enjoy a sensation of unique privilege and experience absolute silence before returning back into the loving arms of mother earth. Whether a birthday, anniversary, important occasion or even a “must do” … we promise all our passengers a wonderful time! Balloon flights in Portugal can be flown all year round and the most stable meteorological conditions are at sunrise. The meteorological conditions will determine if the flight goes ahead. The flight is about 1 hour but The whole trip can take 3-5 hours …

Monchique

View majestic Monchique mountain range from altitude. A 360º, 3D view and well known for its thermal waters with healing powers. A dissected igneous rock (syenite) massif, its highest point is Foia (2,960 ft [902 m]). The range is famous for its wild and generally varied plant life, as well as for its spas with medicinal waters (Caldas de Monchique). The area is known for its production of honey and medronho (arbutus brandy). It is a fresh air haven where you can relax and wander in peace.

The most perfect day was made possible by Algarve Balloons - I proposed to my partner and Helena and the crew were so comforting. The technical knowledge was present throughout the set up and flight, and Helena helped organize a tremendous surprise. Thank you Helena and Daniel!

Frankly perfect! A wonderful day, a breathtaking view and a wonderful team 😍 I highly recommend, they are very pro and put good mood and joy in the gondola 😁 and what about the snack after the flight? Perfect too 😁 In short, go with your eyes closed! (But keep property open 😉)

An amazing early morning experience drifting across the Algarve countryside. From the moment we arrived in the darkness of early morning, through the inflation of the balloon and the takeoff as the sun was rising we had a wonderful experience. The views from the sky were breathtaking and the entire trip was spectacular. We had great fun participating in the inflation of the balloon and again as it was packed away after a very smooth landing. Afterwards we were treated to a beautiful breakfast by the crew. While the trip is great fun it is important to point out that a key part of the experience is the emphasis on safety. This makes the experience all the more enjoyable. While our trip was cut a little short by the fickle Algarve breezes we were offered an opportunity to fly again on a future trip and we can’t wait! Highly recommended !!!

Our trip was an unforgettable experience! The views were breathtaking, with the cityscape and surrounding nature unfolding below us like a painting. The ride was smooth and peaceful, allowing us to fully enjoy the beauty of the moment. It was such a unique and serene adventure with so professional and kind staff - we can’t recommend it enough!

What an amazing morning we had with Helena and her team! Great sunrise flight. Breathtaking views over the area we live , lovely to experience a different perspective. The team were fabulous and Helena and Daniel were awesome pilots. Helena is very generous with her knowledge as we flew around and answering lots of questions. The whole experience was concluded by a delicious champagne picnic feast.

Our family had the best experience with the whole crew of Algarve Balloons. It started with a warm welcome, continued with an expert flight crew and ended with a traditional Portuguese breakfast- champagne toast and all! It was well worth the early wake up to see the sun rise and get the best view of the Algarve. I could go on, but our family of 5 highly recommends this experience. Thank you Helena and Crew!

For the first time we sailed in a hot air balloon. Before dawn we met Helena and her crew at the departure point. After preparing the balloon and a clear explanation of the procedures, we took off. What a wonderful experience. So quiet floating. There was very little wind so we only covered a short distance. That didn’t make the experience any less. The view was beautiful and the landing was soft. Helena was very professional, you can see that she has a lot of experience. After cleaning up the balloon we had a nice picnic with the crew, a real icing on the cake.
