5.00A huge thank you to Roberto for this superb trip to Sete and the beautiful city of Carcassonne! Driver very professional, punctual, attentive and always in a good mood. The ride was made in total comfort, with a flexible and reassuring ride. Roberto knew how to make this day even more pleasant thanks to his kindness, his availability and his little touches. A high-end service, human and impeccable. I recommend with my eyes closed and I will call on him without hesitation!

5.00We booked an excursion to the company camargue vtc premium for the visit of Mont St clair, at first, where we took beautiful family photos.The driver Roberto kindly lent himself to the game by taking us photos, then we took the road in his Van Mercedes towards the medieval city of Carcassonne where we believed ourselves in the middle ages... It was really great!Roberto came back to pick us up and drove us to the port of Sete take the boat. In summary, we had an excellent and unforgettable day with family. We would like to thank Roberto for his kindness, his professionalism and especially his punctuality.

1.00Our driver was great, picked us up on time. Prior to the arranged pick up time/location our driver texted me via WhatsApp, "Just to let you know- todays' drive to Carcassonne might take quite a long time because of traffic and the distance. If you prefer, we could visit a smaller, charming town that's much closer and still very enjoyable to explore. I'm happy to do whatever you prefer-just let me know what you feel like doing." When he arrived, I told him our group of 6 still wanted to go to Carcassonne. We paid $1,196.30 for a tour that inluded bottled water, WIFI, Phone chargers (which were provided).He did not take us to the Phare du Mont Saint-Clair as indicated in the description of this trip (Entry/admission included). He took us to see a cross at a high point in Sete. When we arrived at the Chateau et Remparts de la Cite de Carcassonne, I asked for the entry/admission tickets to see the site. He said the admission was free. Once inside the walled city, we attempted to enter the castle and were told we did not have paid entry. I texted our driver asking for help and included a screenshot of what we paid for. His reponse was: " It seems there was a misunderstanding. You have booked a driver-guide, not a licensed tour guide. If you would like an audio guide or professional tour guide, please visit the Tourist Office, located at the entrance on the left-hand side. Thank you for your understanding." Clearly paying $1,196.30 for six family members and not being able to see this walled city was truly disappointing, not to mention that he initially tried to dissuade us from going to Carcassonne and didn't even take us to see Phare du Mont Saint-Clair. We travelled from Colorado and Illinois to see this site in France. I booked two tours through Viator because I had a great experience last fall when I visited the Lindt Chocolate Factory in Switzerland. Our Vatican City tour and guide were excellent. Disappointing is an understatement of how I felt about the Carcassonne tour because it was not a guided tour sadly. I am requesting a full refund for this excursion. Gail Lantvit [email protected]

2.00Our driver was pleasant, but he had poor use of the English language and was uninspiring and dull. We were extremely disappointed in comparison to our Gibraltar and Ville Franche experiences with Viator.
