The Kabyle region is populated by a Berber population speaking the
Tamazight. Kabylie is a mountain land bordering the sea
Mediterranean.
The Berber identity and the peasant way of life are preserved in their
raw state. The region has an important intangible heritage.
In these alleys of the Kabyle region, we observe women and
men in traditional dress cultivating olive trees with their bare hands. It produces a multiple world champion olive oil in this field.
The great Kabylie is Tizi Ouzou. It is the capital of the mountains
Djurdjura. It has a great cultural role in Algeria. The town of
Beni Yenni is emblematic. In order to best end a day, you have to observe this marvelous orange sunset sky, with a view of the heights of the Kabyle countryside.

Through its heroic history, Kabylia has been a pole of resistance against successive conquerors. From the great Massinissa to the Evian Accords, it marks history many times over. Kabylie is also the music of Idir which resonates in the ears of both sides of the Mediterranean rim.

Béjaïa has the highest natural lighthouse in the world: Cap Garbon. This natural wonder is surrounded by azure blue Mediterranean water. The variety of sound ecosystem makes it the seat of a biodiversity protected by several national parks. The Barbary Macaque has taken up residence there.
Casbah Bejaia
Visit of the old town of Bejaia with the famous Place Gueydon which recalls Swiss landscapes (view of the sea and the snow-capped mountains). Discovery of the emblematic places of Ibn Khaldoun.

5.00I went to Algiers which is an incredibly safe and beautiful city and from there I did a hiking trip in the Hoggar natioanal park. This was such a magical journey which I'd recommend to anyone with an aove average level of fitness. I was so well looked after by my guide and his team. Algeria is a secret..I'd go there before the secret is out!!! The French of course know about it...and very cleverly haven't told anyone.!

They have been: - listening to me before the stay to design the circuit, taking into consideration my expectations, my desires - at my care during the 8 days with exceptional guides and coordinators -available and attentive when I return to take stock. 5.00We had a tailor-made trip for a family group of 14 people. Two-day visit to Algiers with a great guide, then Kabylia. Everything was perfect, hotels, catering, bus transfers, tours and guides. We had a great guide Yazid who knew how to adapt to our requests with humor and kindness like the Algerian people who always welcomed us very well.

5.00After a few days in Kabylia, my family and I, originally from Switzerland, are amazed. The competent and friendly guides and the constant involvement of Riwaya and Merwan in the organization of this stay is perfect. I recommend the agency, Algeria and the little-known region with its extremely rich culture of Kabylie. We will come back !
