  My tour with Experience Jordan was fantastic. The staff were very helpful and informative pre-tour via email- always responding withing one business day and answering any questions I had. A helpful and information pre-trip email was sent detailing the itinerary and providing information on meals, tipping, weather and more. Our tour guides were exceptional. They had a wealth of knowledge of history, geography, anthropology, archeology, culture and religion to give the group a well rounded understanding of Jordan, past and present. Communication was done via Whatsapp group prior to each days activity. Guides were timely, calm and patient and made sure we were always safe, well-fed and happy. Every day was well thought out but open to changes due to group interest, weather or illness. Each experience was so well done and the price point cant be beat for what the company provides. 8 days doesn't seem like quite enough time once the tour is complete- extra days in Petra, Wadi Rum and Aqaba would be nice to build in. My particular group had 7 people which was perfect. We traveled in a sprinter van from location to location. Hotels that we stayed in were generally nice. Breakfast buffets were provided at each hotel. Amenities were average with comfortable beds and nice showers. The stay in the Bedouin camp was magical with made fresh meals and top tier hospitality. The tent cabins at the camp were cozy but a little cold in the winter. Many blankets were provided but I also slept in several layers. Lunches were provided every day and ranged from buffet to sit down restaurants to camp fire meals in the desert. Dinners were on your own and guides provided recommendations for the group. Crowd size at the different sites were moderate. Jordan tourism is still recovering from the pandemic and the start of the Israel Conflict so crowd size was smaller than pre-pandemic numbers. While crowded, there were always pauses to get good pictures and enjoy the experience for yourself. Overall, you can't afford to not take this trip. Jordan is an incredible country with wonderful people and it should be on everyone's must-see list.

  Jordan has been on my bucket list for a while and it did not disappoint! The itinerary was perfect, to fully appreciate the landscape (whilst hiking), history, culture and some of the key sites. Motaz, our guide was exceptional, making sure we were looked after properly. Putting our wellness first (due to flooding) and making us all laugh every single day. His story telling, impromptu ‘lessons’ (who knew a single olive could create so much oil) and energy made the trip! As a solo female traveller or those unsure about the Middle East and safety, there is no reason to be concerned. Everyone in Jordan is friendly and happy to help. Thank you Motaz and Adventure Jordan for creating memories of a lifetime. I will be back

  I went with the other half and we were part of a group of 15 (mainly couples, but some singles). It was a fabulous experience made so much better by our guide Motaz zghoul, who put his heart and soul into making every part of the tour the very best. Particular highlights were the Treasury, which we saw from above in a quiet place away from the crowds, the Bedouin camp where we had a traditional dinner in the desert before a campfire and bottomless local tea, and the gorgeous Bedouin camp for New Years. Motaz zghoul made the whole experience so informative too - he explained so much about the historic sites and he sorted so many aspects of the experience, including handling changes in the programme because of torrential rain and flooding. • ARCHAEOLOGICAL PATH DISCRIMINATES AGAINST HANDICAPPED PEOPLE

  Absolutely horrible tour, the tour guide, Zaki, was mean to me, not helping me down the steep, dangerous stairs, talking about me in front of my face and ruining my shots on purpose. The support person was not better, calling me "entitled American", kind of like "ugly American", I was insulted, especially so because I thought this young woman actually liked and cared for me but I guess not. Meanwhile, Archaeological Tours would not pay for the golf cart to take me to see the candlelight tour of Petra, which was the main thing I came there for and they refused to cover it even though i was handicapped and could not negotiate the trip myself. This was a complete waste of the $6,000 plus fee that I paid for this trip. As a result, I do not recommend this tour or the people involved in it.

  Thanks Experience Jordan (particularly Shushan Lusikyan) and Motaz zghoul for a fabulous 8 day adventure in Jordan. I joined a group of 7 others for the Jordan Hiking adventure covering Dana, Petra, Wadi rum and Dead sea - starting and ending in Amman. The trip organization was smooth from start to finish - with even long travel days flying by with Motaz giving us history and context about Jordan during the long drives and the group swapping stories. Mostly we traveled by mini van (from JETT), except in the desert where we switched to jeeps - and all drivers were safe and competent. Everyday was different and the landscapes were all spectacular. Its really hard to pick highlights - but a few that stand out - sunrise and sunset in Wadi rum, climbing the highest peak in Jordan, the freshly made bedouin bread at Little Petra camp, seeing the treasury in Petra from the top without crowds and Petra by night. Motaz made everyone feel welcome and included, and accommodated as many requests as he could. He was always there especially when we need a hand or a leg to get up a mountain or down a canyon and made sure everyone was safe. The hotels were clean and hospitality was really warm everywhere. Only one night at Toledo Hotel in Amman was sub par due to a bad smell in the room, which they remedied with some pushing. Food was amazing - we had endless cups of coffee/tea on breaks and snacks (thanks Motaz for introducing us to Barazek - my favorite cookie now). Breakfasts were huge buffets that held us well through late afternoons and dinners were again elaborate affairs including Zarb in the Wadi rum, with even this vegetarian being accounted for. Including a local meal with Fatima in the village around Petra is a great idea especially to understand the life of those displaced from Petra - the food was simple but delicious, and she was a delight to talk. The cook at Wadi rum rainbow camp was amazing as well especially turning out food to feed an army in very rustic setting. All of Jordan felt very safe even with the current situation in the middle east as it keeps a very neutral stance. Most vendors and taxi drivers did very little pushing, and it felt safe to walk around at night as a woman on her own. All meals ended up being included in our trip - and the only extras were really tips. The only thing I regret is not spending one 1-2 more days to take in the north of Jordan as well.

  From first interaction with the company to the final fond farewell, Experience Jordan and our incredible guide Motaz were so wonderful! We had a great itinerary with hikes, camel rides, and all the special experiences in Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea, and I truly felt the warm hospitality of Jordan. You definitely won't go hungry and you will leave already planning your next trip back!

  Motaz Zghoul led our group on an incredible tour of Jordan. He is a knowledgable, energetic and fun guide who brought our diverse group of tourists from different countries together. He appears to know and be loved by every Jordanian!! We learned so much from him about the past and present of Jordan and its people. He took great care of us at every stage of our tour, and even called at 6:00am on our return flight day (and on his only day off) to make sure the driver he had arranged for us had shown up at the hotel. He quickly assessed the capability of our group of 8 (strong trekkers) and made modifications to our itinerary to allow us to see and experience even more, including an incredible hike to a viewpoint overlooking The Treasury in Petra. That was a day that we’ll never forget. Our 2 days in Wadi Rum were spectacular, and the hikes, climbs, sunsets and sunrise camel rides were amazing. The Experience Jordan itinerary was amazing, and their tour planners were very helpful at every stage of our trip planning. Finishing the trip with a Dead Sea mud bath and a float in the Dead Sea was amazing. Thank you Motaz for making our trip so memorable!!

  First of all, I want to praise our guide, Motaz. It’s simply impossible to imagine a hiking trip being organized and led any better than he did. His knowledge about the history and culture of Petra and all the sights along the trail from Dana to Petra was absolutely brilliant. He also set the perfect hiking pace and added just the right amount of humor – truly wonderful! From an organizational point of view, everything worked perfectly. The food in the camps was simple but very good, and the evenings by the campfire created a great atmosphere. The only small point of criticism I would mention is that the tour operator should include tips in the total price, so that what’s given at the end really feels like a genuine gratuity.

  From start to finish, our trip with Experience Jordan Adventures was absolutely seamless. Every detail was handled with care, and the itinerary was perfectly planned. Huge thanks to Raisa, who coordinated everything flawlessly and made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. But the real highlight of our trip was our guide, Motaz. He was knowledgeable, kind, funny, and full of stories that brought Jordan’s history and culture to life. Whether we were floating in the Dead Sea, exploring Petra, or walking through Wadi Rum, Motaz made every moment memorable. He went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and immersed in the experience. I can’t recommend this company enough. Their commitment to creating meaningful travel while giving back to the community really shows. I’ll definitely be returning — there’s still so much to explore in this beautiful country!
