In this tour, you will know our History, Culture, and Tradition of Ica in a single day. We will visit the beautiful Hacienda Tacama, the oldest vineyard in Peru and South America. In this Colonial Architecture Hacienda, we will learn about the history of Ica during the Viceroyalty of Peru and the traditions inherited from the Spanish, as well as the grape production that would later become wine and pisco. On Mondays, Hacienda Tacama is closed. Therefore, on this day, we will visit Hacienda Vista Alegre.
We will also visit the best distillery in Peru, Hacienda Destilería La Caravedo, a beautiful colonial Hacienda that has been producing the finest pisco since 1684. Here, we will learn all about the history and origin of pisco.

5.00Alejandro, who owns the company, is seriously the best!! Our bus from Arequipa arrived 8 hrs late due to road blockades, causing us to arrive to our tour late. Alejandro personally picked us up from the bus station and took us on a private, “sped up” version of the tour to ensure we still got to see everything. He even reserved us a front row seat on the dune buggies. The wineries and sand dunes were amazing - this tour is a must, and having such a great, accommodating guide made it 10x better. A highlight of our trip for sure! Additionally, the next day we had troubles bussing to Lima. We contacted Alejandro and he sent us a private driver, who got us to Lima quickly and safely. Alejandro goes above and beyond, best tour company we encountered in Peru by far!!

5.00Amazing experience. Alejandro is down to earth, friendly and good with details. Our bus was over 3 hours late for our tour and he went out of his way to move us to a private “rushed” tour so we could still see as much as possible. Most tour guides would say too bad. He also offered us his number for advice/contacts for the rest of our time in Ica which came in very helpful. He knows his stuff and has the connection. 10/5 stars, highly recommend

5.00Alejandro, the day was perfect! He picked me up at the Ica bus station and we continued our full-day private tour, just for me. Unique and very valuable experience, I visited the wineries, we took a city tour, I was able to taste typical cuisine, in incredible places, prepared by people from the region, which further enriched my experience! The buggy ride through the Huacachina desert is simply fantastic, I will cherish this moment forever!

5.00Alejandro was amazing! He picked me up from the bus station and discussed my tour. He planned everything for me, picked up me from my air b&b the next day and we began exploring Ica. He told me about the history of Ica which was very interesting. He took me for tasting of local food and drinks and we also visited Hacienda Tacama. My day ended in the Oasis of Huacachina where I took a buggy tour and did some sand boarding. The entire day was amazing as Alejandro planned everything so well and drove me from one place to another. Thanks to Alejandro I was able to have the best experience of Ica and Huacachina. Thank you so much!
