Enjoy the relaxed casual environment of Rottnest Island, one of the most unique islands in the world, just off the coast of Perth. After cruising down the Swan River and across the open ocean, you’ll arrive on the island, ready to begin your full-day adventure. Explore the island by bike (the only form of transport – cars are not allowed), discover secluded beaches, snorkel among the reefs and meet the local wildlife. You have the option to depart from Perth or Fremantle.

4.00We had the most brilliant day on Rotto. 9:30am speedy ferry from Fremantle and the fun started. Ferry service was great. Bikes were good, could be a little newer but worked fine. We were loving the island so much we changed our ferry from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, which was so easy to do. Long lunch at Isola and then late afternoon drinks and oysters at Havza. What an incredible day, biking. Swimming, eating, drinking. Amazing.

5.00So easy turn up with your voucher to ferry office to redeem your ticket. Well organised getting everyone on the ferry. Get your bike off ferry and enjoy your day
A great visit with a sprinkle of 3xcercise chucked in for good measure.

5.00The bikes and the terrain were easy to do, even for people who rarely cycle. Getting off the beaten track definitely was thw most enjoyable - the busy beaches were definitely worth avoiding.

4.00Great ferry trip with excellent commentary on way to Rottnest Island The island is beautiful. No hassle getting bikes and snorkel gear from Ferry company. Saw Quoka so our experience was complete with that. Would recommend this trip

5.00This was an unbelievable experience, loved every minute of it. Lovely day to ride round and see the most amazing beaches I have ever seen. Easy directions to follow and you can get around the island in approx 6 hrs dependant on how long you stay on each beach. Please note take plenty of water as although there are watering stops at some of the locations it is not at all. If a hot day you will need plenty of it. We got to see the Quokkas which were so cute but didn’t want a famous selfie.
Ferry is fine. Bikes are trash. Rent your bikes elsewhere.

2.00Rottnest Island was AMAZING. We had a blast at the beaches and with the quokkas. But this is about the tour operator and that left a lot to be desired. The ferry ride was fine. The waters were choppy about 25 minutes of the trip each way, and a kind ferry rep was helping people and keeping everyone safe. The bikes were trash. Loose steering which felt incredibly unsafe; non working kick stand; misshapen bottle holder that wouldn’t hold anything; no basket. If we had cobbled together one bike from the working pieces of the two we had, we still wouldn’t have had a fully functioning bike. If something goes wrong, I address it in the moment, allowing the party to fix the situation so that I don’t have to leave a bad review. When I returned to the bike area an hour after picking them up, I explained the problem and the woman who was there said, “okay” and just put the bikes away. She didn’t offer us better bikes, or a partial refund, or even put the faulty bikes aside for someone to look at. She just returned them to inventory like it happened all the time. Which leads me to believe it does. I was so incensed, I just walked away.

3.00Because of my age, it was difficult to drive a bicycle. It took a while to get used to the steering wheel, as it seemed to fit the foreigner's body shape.

5.00We booked a combined deal with Rottnest ferries which included the ferry return journey from Freemantle, a Segway tour and cycle hire. What a fabulous day we had. We rode out to parakeet bay and enjoyed a lovely dip. The ferry ride back to Freemantle was a little hairy given the wind change but we felt safe in the hands of staff who were professional and helpful
