Enjoy the relaxed casual environment of Rottnest Island, one of the most unique islands in the world, just off the coast of Perth. After cruising down the Swan River and across the open ocean, you’ll arrive on the island, ready to begin your full-day adventure. Explore the island by bike (the only form of transport – cars are not allowed), discover secluded beaches, snorkel among the reefs and meet the local wildlife. You have the option to depart from Perth or Fremantle.

4.0We left from Perth and really enjoyed the scenic river cruise. The tour guide told interesting stories while cruising. The island is beautiful and we were happy to have the bicycles to explore different parts of the island. The bicycles could have been a bit more comfortable. Everything was well organized and we had a great day!

5.0Fantastic day out. You get a return ferry ticket and a hired bike for the day, and once on the island are free to go where you like. Cycled about 30km round the island, beautiful scenery and cute quokkas. Check the weather forecast and book this a day or so out on what looks a nice day. Definitely recommend!

3.0Rottnesr is worth the visit and we enjoyed the day a lot, with nice beaches and a bike ride around the island. The Quokka is the special attraction there. :) We were less happy with the expected tour otganization, but enjoyed the day nevertheless. First, we booked the ferry especially from Perth CBD and received this confirmation. Finally, in our voucher we were sent to Freemantle which was miles away from our hotel and therefore a long, difficoult journey. Secondly, the tour was not guided at any moment. We just received the mail with the other ferry departure point, the hint that the crew would give us the bikes on the ferry and the ticket QR for self-check in. Asking about the snorkelling, we had to wait some time and then were handed in 2 gears without checking sizes or anything else. On the beaches which were assigned like snorkelling points there was nothing interesting to discover snorkelling. So to sum up, the booking did not meet our expectations. We would have been more comfortable to buy the ferry tickets ourselves in CBD and then just hire a bike on the island. But altogether, the very kind Australian guys we met during the day all helped out whatever trouble came up and thus madexup for everything. :)
