Suitable for all physical fitness levels

People suffering from asthma or any other breathing problems, lung problem, chest disease or surgery, epilepsy, seizures or convulsions, blackout or fainting, any dive accidents or decompression sickness, recent surgical interventions (last 6 months), high blood pressure, heart disease or history of heart attack or stroke, heart surgery, ear surgery, hernia, ulcers or ulcer surgery, colostomy, any psychological problems ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE A RECENT MEDICAL CERTIFICATE certifying you are fit for scuba diving. Please note that it’s a non-exhaustive list and there may be other medical conditions which will require medical approval first.

Start at 8h45am, filling in forms at the diving centre to ensure medically everything is good, getting equipped, briefing, boat trip around 15 min maximum, arrive at dive site and dive for around 30-40 min.

I spent my PADI 2 with Tamarin Ocean Diving and I recommend this center 100%! A pro and super friendly team, beautiful spots, complete and secure training with good equipment. A big thank you to Olivier, the head of the center, who assured my courses with patience and passion. He knows the place perfectly and knows how to spot all the underwater wonders. As a bonus, I leave with great souvenir photos thanks to him! A great experience. Mersi bokou!

I completed my Advanced Open Water certification with The Dive School in Mauritius, and I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment I walked in, the team made me feel like part of the family. Everyone was super friendly, warm, and welcoming — it created such a positive, relaxed atmosphere that made the whole course even more enjoyable. On the professional side, the instructors were top-notch. They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, with a real passion for diving that came through in every dive. I felt safe, supported, and encouraged the whole way through, and I learned so much. If you’re considering diving in Mauritius, I highly, highly recommend The Dive School. Whether you’re a beginner or looking to advance your skills, this is the place to do it. I can’t thank them enough for such an unforgettable experience!

Very good club, a professional team, attentive and super friendly. A Guide and a Queue, even for autonomous divers FFESSM is not unpleasant. We can only recommend it. Thank you.

An exceptional diving experience with Tamarin Ocean Leader Diving! The whole team is at the top... both technically (material, quality of teaching, respect for Safety, spots) and in terms of reception... a huge thank you to all!! What good memories shared, we meet again in 2025!

The team around Jess, Olivier and Lokheet did a great job on our two diving days. We were able to complete 4 dives in total. The equipment is very good and a check is carried out at the base. The groups were a maximum of 4 divers per guide and were adapted to the different levels. The rather "late" meeting point (09:15 or 08:45) and the return to the base between dives meant that the diving days were rather long. But this is a matter of taste and has nothing to do with the quality of the diving base.
