  Every aspect of touring Ghana with David Kojo was an exceptional experience. From the moment we landed in Accra, my husband and I felt welcome and very comfortable in Kojo’s capable hands. He navigated what seemed like insane traffic with admirable ease, is deeply knowledgeable about Ghana’s history, politics, art, culture, food and language and is widely connected throughout the country. We traveled with friends and between us there was an engineer, a city manager, a psychologist/corporate coach and a writer. Each of us learned about Hands in ways that fascinated us, thanks to Kojo’s wide knowledge base. We are already planning our next trip and know that we will want Kojo as our guide. Between the four of us, we’ve been around the world and experienced great tours and guides. David Kojo is at the very top. Don’t hesitate to book with him.   David brought our Ghana experience to the next level. He has very much knowledge about the history of Ghana and about the culture. He made sure that we feel welcome and put much effort in making sure you can eat the best food (especially if you have allergies). Also is David very good at making beautiful pictures so you can put all your time into observing the nature and culture. We highly recommend him and the county!

  We had a great time on our visit to Elmina castle, cape coast castle and Kakum national park. It was a great experience for us all and we would recommend if you are considering visiting the area

  Visiting Ghana with Kojo of RootTours was a highly educational, patient and a amazing tourist experience. From the moment we arrived in ACC airport, our guide welcomed us with customized Kente cloths with our names. We spent half of our trip Accra and the remaining in Elmina. Our guide Kojo was highly educated on the rich history of Ghana, Accra, Elmina and the several Ghana tribes. Although Accra appears to be a city that is easily to get around, Kojo knew his way around very well and was also very connected everywhere we went. He also made sure to educate us from topics of the land, politics, culture, Twi language and currency as well. Service and hospitality was punctual and accommodating.

  During our experience in Ghana, David was our driver and tour guide! He was extremely knowledgeable and engaging throughout our time utilizing his services. He took the time to explain things to us and answer any questions that we had. He was well versed about his country’s culture and customs. David was a complete gentleman, taking care to open doors, carry luggage/packages etc. Having him during our travels was an experience in and of itself!   David is an AMAZING tour guide!! This was the best tour I have ever been on. I came to Ghana for work and stayed for a few extra days. Since I was traveling alone, I wanted to book a few guided tours. I spent 3 days with David and each day was awesome! We went to the Volta region, Eastern region, and Cape Coast. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of Ghana. Plus he took amazing photos of me! I would absolutely recommend David and Roots Tours.

  Excellent tours . Friendly informative guides with a wealth of knowledge. The routes were well planned with plenty of time at each stopping point. The restaurants chosen were also really good.
