Is the Bible not as clear as you would like it to be?
In this semi-private guided tour, you'll go through the British Museum, connecting numerous ancient artifacts to verses, helping you to discover the common thread that weaves the books and people together.
Verses are no longer just words on a page when you see an ancient artifact bring the passage to life. By placing each event on a timeline, you'll understand how they relate to one another.
You'll remember the artifacts and verses in two ways:
1. Read the Bible for yourself: Instead of hearing the guide's interpretation, you'll read the verses in your own translation in front of the artifact. You'll remember the artifact and the verse better.
2. Socratic questioning: Instead of listening to a guide's one-way talk, you'll be asked gentle questions that prompt you to the answer. Self-discovery is the best way to learn, and by saying the answer in front of the artifact, you'll remember the artifact and the answer better.

The absolute best tour I've ever taken. David was expert, knowledgeable and imparted his knowledge in an easy, attention capturing fashion. I'll be travelling through the UK soon and am aiming for a layover so that I can take David's tour again.

I cannot recommend the Bible tour at the British Museum highly enough. David is extraordinarily knowledgeable — not just about the artifacts themselves, but about the historical, cultural, and theological context surrounding them. His depth of understanding is impressive, yet he presents everything in such an engaging and accessible way. What truly set this tour apart was how he brought the Bible to life. Walking through the galleries, passages that I have read many times suddenly felt vivid and tangible. Seeing the objects and inscriptions in their historical setting added a new richness and dimension that I had never experienced before. David also gave us real food for thought. The tour was not simply informational; it invited reflection, thoughtful questions, and meaningful connections between history and faith. I left feeling both intellectually enriched and personally inspired. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat

David is an amazing tour guide, passionate and knowledgeable. He made the 4 hours feel too short because everything he shared was so interesting and we were learning so much - and I could tell that his priority was for the Bible to come alive for us which it did! He also catered the content he shares according to our context and what would be relevant to us. Not to mention going the extra mile to give my husband and I great recommendations for our honeymoon haha. Would definitely recommend :)

11/10! David is a remarkable human being, with huge knowledge and understanding of the Biblical scriptures in relation to the artefacts presented in the British Museum. I took my partner on a date for Valentine’s Day and David opened up a space for us just the day before, which is testament to his character and the passion he has for his calling. I’m so thankful that we were able to learn so much together and in the same process, learn more about my partner and her understanding of the word in the same breath. I will definitely be back for part two and looking forward to also doing a tour with David in the National Gallery. A must book for anyone looking to expand and delve in deeper on their understanding of how history ties into the Biblical scriptures.

David is a great communicator. We received lots of information on both the tour and tips on visiting London before our scheduled tour. His meeting instructions were clear & concise. He told us where to find folding stools so our concerns about standing on hard floors for 3 hours ended up not being a problem. His knowledge of the bible & the artifacts in the museum is impressive. The time went by very quickly. We definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.

This was a 4 hour tour with a very experienced guide, David. He highlighted many historical details that appear in the Bible with delightful stories told with much humor. The musuem was not crowded on the day I went (Monday afternoon) and our group of 6 were able to get close up to the artifacts and get some good pictures. Notes were also provided before and after the session, which made the fee paid very worthwhile. Admission to the museum is free, though visitors may wish to make a small donation to them. The experience was engaging, educational and enjoyable.
