5.00This is no walk in the park hike but if you're going to do it, then Dylan is the absolute best guide to go with. I wasn't in the fittest shape to be able to complete it but Dylan's calm and warm energy made the journey enjoyable. He is definitely your best choice!

5.00What an unforgettable experience! The Boiling Lake hike, complete with hot springs and a gorge swim, was everything I hoped for and more. The full trek clocked in at just over 7 hours — challenging, scenic, and absolutely worth every step. I'll be honest: I hadn't done any serious hiking in about 8 years, so this was no small feat for me. But our guide Dylan made all the difference. He was genuine, knowledgeable, and fun — constantly sharing fascinating insights about the trail while keeping the energy high and the group motivated. He has a natural ability to make a tough hike feel like an adventure rather than a workout. If you're visiting Dominica and considering this excursion, don't hesitate — just book it. Ask for Dylan. You won't regret it!

5.00The hike to Boiling Lake is one of the most spectacular in the world. I made them 20 years ago when I was about 35 years old in dry weather and I wanted to do it again. It was great again and despite the efforts to manage well. This time it had rained and was slippery, but cooler and also good for me in my mid-50s. Our guide Peter Green booked through the accommodation had transferred us, and Dylan helped us out and spontaneously took us on his tour. Dylan is a very friendly and thoughtful guide. He knows every part of the way. Where it's not easy, he'll show you how to set your feet, or extend a hand. There are tons of rivers to cross, including hot ones, and some climbing points to tackle. He is pleasantly reserved, but has a close eye on every guest and takes breaks where and when it makes sense or is needed. At the beginning of the tour, in the forest, it attracts birds such as the Mountain Whistler through its imitation birds or points out special trees and their use for medical or other purposes. Dylan takes his time, but has also worked for trail runners. I highly recommend him as a guide for any kind of guest. Swimming in the gorge is also fantastic because of the narrow and steep walls, the play of colours and the waterfall at the end.

5.00Excellent hike up to boiling lake with a group of other visitors and Dylan guiding the way. Dylan made the experience feel very safe, relaxed and informative. I wouldn’t recommend this hike to elderly or unfit individuals unless they are extremely determined. Some of our group were challenged by the hike on the more physically demanding sections, but Dylan went out of his way to help them complete it safely. Bless up

5.00We had booked with another company but due to unforseen circumstances we're unable to accommodate our tours. They contacted Dylan and he was willing to work with us. From the moment he arrived and we started on our tours Dylan blew us away with all of his knowledge of the island, it's history, agriculture, flora, geography, and culture. He provided encouragement for the difficult hikes and always stopped and checked in to see how we were feeling. He captured amazing photos and video of us that he shared with us so we could have pictures and video of us together enjoying the experiences. Dylan is a true healer and had an oil that cured bug bites in record time and eased knee pain (he makes this magic oil). When we spoke about our days with Dylan with the other hotel guest they were so jealous of the quality of our tours and full immersion we had with him as our guide. We left Dominica with experiences that most tourists never get and its because of Dylan. We could have never dreamed of how amazing our time would be but we're grateful for Dylan and feel like we left with a forever friend. Dylan truly shines, his positivity, customer service, compassion, and knowledge! Dominica is an incredible island not only because of it's raw beauty but because of people like Dylan.
