5.00We had booked with another company but due to unforseen circumstances we're unable to accommodate our tours. They contacted Dylan and he was willing to work with us. From the moment he arrived and we started on our tours Dylan blew us away with all of his knowledge of the island, it's history, agriculture, flora, geography, and culture. He provided encouragement for the difficult hikes and always stopped and checked in to see how we were feeling. He captured amazing photos and video of us that he shared with us so we could have pictures and video of us together enjoying the experiences. Dylan is a true healer and had an oil that cured bug bites in record time and eased knee pain (he makes this magic oil). When we spoke about our days with Dylan with the other hotel guest they were so jealous of the quality of our tours and full immersion we had with him as our guide. We left Dominica with experiences that most tourists never get and its because of Dylan. We could have never dreamed of how amazing our time would be but we're grateful for Dylan and feel like we left with a forever friend. Dylan truly shines, his positivity, customer service, compassion, and knowledge! Dominica is an incredible island not only because of it's raw beauty but because of people like Dylan. 5.00This was an amazing way to experience some of the most beautiful landscape Dominica has to offer. The Boiling Lake is breathtaking and was worth the effort. Our guide, Dylan, is clearly very experienced and helped us safely navigate the challenging terrain. Boiling eggs, clay masks, hot springs and drinking fresh water - this trip is everything it says in the description. I would highly recommend this tour. I also encourage you to pay attention to the advice about good footwear and level of fitness. Finally, definitely try and get Dylan as your guide!

5.00Dylan checks every box one could want in a guide: knowledgeable, friendly, adventurous, curious, capable, and safe. My wife and I went on two hikes with Dylan, the Boiling Lake hike and the Victoria Falls hike. Both were incredible. Dylan is clearly so proud of his country, so welcoming to visitors, and really wants you to get the most out of your hike. You are in the best hands possible. Book him, then book him again. You will not be disappointed.

5.00Dylan was an excellent and amazing guide to Boiling Lake! He couldn't have been nicer and took the time and care to make my husband and I feel comfortable and at ease every step of the way ! He was able to balance the youthful energy of our 23 year old son, with our need to go carefully and more slowly due to our ages of 67 and 70. But we made it with his encouragement! He explained the fascinating history of the island as well as pointed out the myriad plants and birds. He summoned a special bird by making evocative repetitive special calls to this bird. I wish I remembered the name of this bird, but all I can tell you it was pure magic and quite beautiful. My son loved the hike as well as my husband and I . We loved leaving the eggs to boil and coming back to eat them! Dylan is a true healer and a caring, gentle man!' I look forward to returning and going again! Thank you so much Dylan! It was awesome!

4.00This park is beautiful and has immense potential, but the experience fell short due to hazardous conditions and a lack of transparency. It had rained for three days prior, leaving the trail a slippery, muddy, and dangerous mess. Because it was still raining during the hike, I only lasted 30 minutes before having to turn back for safety. While the guide was nice and experienced, I was disappointed that the actual trail conditions weren't communicated beforehand. Had I known the hike would be a "muddy mess," I would have canceled. Excellent customer service would have involved a weather warning or a partial refund. The real MVP was the woman selling entrance tickets; she was incredibly helpful and assisted me in finding an alternative tour so my day wasn't wasted. Potential hikers should understand that this operator will go out in any weather and will not warn you if conditions are poor. This is strictly an intermediate hike, not for beginners. I would try this again, but only under significantly better weather circumstances.
