5.00Absolutely incredible. I went with my family for the first time to explore Argentina and we wanted an experience that was not only beautiful but also informative. Mariano was very attentive and answered all our questions. I came away with a wonderful experience of this beautiful city and gained both historical and fascinating insights.

5.00Of all the tours I made in Argentina, this one was definitely one of the most striking. Mariano is a thousand note! His dedication and his vibe were so good that me and my friends left there completely in love with the city. Because of his care, we already have the tickets purchased to return in June now. Experience note 10, super recommend!

5.00Mariano did a fantastic job showing us the hotspots all around Buenos Aires. He went out of his way to find creative areas for us to see and taught us a ton of historical knowledge about the city and country as a whole. His passion was evident in the time we spent with him. Doing a tour with him is a must when in the city.

5.00My husband and I had the pleasure of spending 2 days in Buenos Aires with Mariano. Our experience included airport pick up, two very comprehensive days of private touring in the city, and then a drop off at the cruise terminal. Mariano seamlessly coordinated our entire schedule and transport. He also provided invaluable recommendations for hotels and restaurants. Mariano has an incredible knowledge of the city that he grew up in and is very familiar with its history and architecture. Thank you, Mariano, for a most enjoyable experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Vivir BA and Mariano to anyone visiting the city.

5.00Mariano, Vivar Tours, was the best thing about Buenos Aires. We were two US citizens with limited knowledge about Buenos Aires and Mariano took it all in stride. He asked us what our interests were and tried to tailor the tour to what we might like to see. We were met at the cruise terminal (terrible disembarkation and I tried to let him know via Whatsapp when we might get off the ship). I don't know all the places we went, but we visited the Recoleta Cemetery(do not miss this!!!!), the LaBoca Juniors local area so we could buy our son a scarf, Casa Rosada (where the President works), changing of the guards who protect the tomb of St Martin, Metropolitan Cathedral (beautiful), a local walk thru market, and other areas of Buenos Aires. He even took us to a local place where we had empanadas. He pointed out the different buildings and what influence the different countries had on building them. You would never have had the personal tour he gave on a group tour. We were able to keep our luggage with us and he always parked in a secure area. We decided we needed to head to the airport for our trip home which we negotiated a price ahead of time. I think this has to be one of our best tours yet!

5.00We arrived in Buenos Aires from an overnight flight. It would have been very easy to go to our Airbnb and sleep for a bit. Instead we were met by Mariano and his Dad at the airport. From then on we were in for a wonderful treat. Mariano provided us with a personalized half day tour of the city that he clearly loves and knows quite well. He made sure we had water, and stopped at a cute cafe for us to get lunch when we were hungry. He explained about the history and culture of the city. He answered all of our questions. He also introduced us to alfajores- an Argentine cookie with filled with dulce de leche. Yum! I strongly recommend booking your tour of Buenos Aires with Vivir BA Tours. You will be so glad that you did!
