Saqqara Pyramid
• At Saqqara, the oldest complete stone building complex known in history was built: Djoser's step pyramid, built during the Third Dynasty. Another Egyptian kings built pyramids at Saqqara, which are now in various states of preservation or dilapidation. High officials added private funeral monuments to this necropolis during the entire Pharaonic Period.
Memphis and Sakkara
• The city of Memphis is 20 km (12 mi) south of Cairo on the west bank of the Nile The modern cities and towns of Mitrahina, south of Cairo, all lie within the administrative borders of historical Memphis. The city was also the place that marked the boundary between Upper and Lower Egypt. (The 22nd name of Upper Egypt and 1st name of Lower Egypt).
Pyramids of Dahshour
• In Dahshur we will see The first of the Dahshur pyramids was the Bent Pyramid (2613 – 2589 BC), built under the rule of king Senefru The Bent Pyramid was the first attempt at building a smooth-sided pyramid, but proved to be an unsuccessful build due to the miscalculations made on the structural weight that was being placed onto the soft ground (sand, gravel, and clay) which had a tendency to subside. Other calculations that were proven to be erroneous were that the blocks being used were cut in such a manner that when placed onto the pyramid their weight was not distributed. • Then we will move to the second pyramid of Dahshur, the Red Pyramid Once completed, the pyramid was considered to be a success, as it was a fully constructed, smooth sided, and a free-standing pyramid rising to a height of 341 feet (104 meters), with an angle of 43 degrees.

I was traveling with friends who love photography and this tour delivered. We started at 7 AM to catch the golden light. The admission fee for the Pyramids area was 540 EGP. We stayed for 4 hours just walking and taking shots. The atmosphere was quiet early morning only a few other photographers. Crowd size was small until 9 AM then it grew. Staff at the security check were strict but efficient. Best for friends who want epic photos without tourists in the background. Our guide knew every hidden angle including a spot where you can frame the pyramid between two palm trees. I took a photo that now hangs on my wall. One story my friend dropped his lens cap near a camel and the camel stepped on it. The guide picked it up and it was somehow not broken. We called it the pyramid miracle.

We were a couple celebrating our anniversary and this tour made it special. Our guide surprised us with a private camel ride at the Pyramids which wasn't in the plan. The admission fee for the camel was extra 300 EGP for both but worth every penny. We visited for about 5 hours total including travel time. The atmosphere was romantic especially when the sun set behind the Sphinx. Crowd size thinned out after 4 PM so we got amazing photos. Staff at the camel area were patient and helped me mount because I was scared. Best for couples who want a mix of history and intimacy. One moment I will never forget when we stopped on the camel and the guide took our photo with the pyramid perfectly behind us. No one else was around and the silence felt like a gift.

I went solo to Cairo and joined this tour last minute. I was nervous about eating alone but the guide took me to a local restaurant where the owner treated me like family. The admission fee for the second day including the museum was 400 EGP. We spent around 3 hours in the Egyptian Museum and I could have stayed longer because the treasures are endless. The atmosphere inside is calm and dark which helps you focus on the artifacts. Crowd size was moderate not too packed. Staff were helpful especially one guard who pointed out a hidden statue. Best for solo travelers who want to learn history without feeling lonely. On the way back we passed through a small market and I bought a papyrus for 200 EGP after bargaining. The guide taught me one Arabic phrase and the seller smiled big. That small win made my whole day.

We booked this two day trip and honestly it was the best decision. I was worried about the hassle in Cairo but from the moment we met our guide in the lobby everything felt smooth. The private car was super clean and the AC worked perfectly. Our guide explained how to greet locals and what to say which made me feel like less of a tourist. We visited the Pyramids first and the sight of them from the car window gave me chills. The entrance fee was 540 EGP per person which is fair. We spent about 4 hours at the plateau because there is so much to see. The atmosphere was busy but exciting with camels everywhere and vendors calling out. Crowd size was big near the main pyramid but we found quiet spots. Staff at the ticket booth were fast and friendly. Best for friends who want adventure without stress. One small story I almost fell climbing inside the pyramid because the steps are steep but our guide caught my arm. That moment made me trust him completely.

We went on tours in Cairo, Giza and Luxor. Our lovely guides were Ahmed and Haitam who were very knowledgeable, kind, and agreeable. It was incredible seeing the temples and tombs in Luxor and then visiting the pyramids and Sphinx in Giza. We felt safe and taken care of during the entire trip and both guides were happy to adapt the schedule to allow us to have more relaxed mornings. If you're visiting Egypt and want to learn more about the history of the country this is the perfect service for you.

We arranged a private 2-day tour with Haitham that covered the Pyramids, the Cairo Museum and Islamic/modern Cairo. We saw the amazing history of the Step Pyramid (the oldest) the Red and the Bent Pyramids, as well as the Great Pyramids and Sphinx of Giza. We spent a half day at the Cairo Museum (which is soon[?] scheduled to be replaced by the huge Grand Egyptian Museum) with the treasures of King Tutankhamun on display. Modern Cairo and the two great mosques completed our tour of the Cairo and Giza area. We were splitting our week in Egypt between here and Luxor. Two days is an admittedly short time to take all of this in, but Haitham expertly guided us through so many of the amazing historic locations! There is so much to see that the more time you have, the better. We hope to return someday when travel is again possible for us. When we do, we will certainly contact Haitham.

Haitham delivered a top-shelf, Egyptian experience during our tours! A true Egyptian Egyptologist, Haitham provided us a unique perspective on Egypt, its ancient past and its mystery! He picked us up from our flat in Cairo and took us to our first stop, the Museum. He led us through the world famous Egyptian Museum, carefully pointing out wonderful artifacts there that tourists typically miss, which my family was very grateful for. Then he even let us roam the museum on our own which was the best of both worlds. After that he whisked us to Giza, giving us more history and anecdotes along the way, before we made it to the necropolis. Once there he escorted us as we walked the grounds of the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, et al often offering to take pictures of us if we desired. It was one of my families greatest experiences while traveling and I have no doubt I will return to Cairo soon!

I had a half day private tour with a driver and a guide to Giza pyramids as I was travelling in Cairo alone. The trip was professional, interesting and safe. Also, if you have a private guide, the sellers are not annoying you and you can look what you want to buy without any hassle. Definitely best to go to the pyramids with a guide! I also recommend to have a Nile boat trip in Cairo and visit restaurant Andrea if possible.
