Copenhagen City Hall
City Hall Square is Copenhagen's largest square. The City Hall building is recognizable by its ornate brick front, clock tower, and the gilded statue of the city’s founder, Bishop Absalon, over the front balcony. The hall was built in the National Romantic style, which was popularized by the architect Martin Nyrop. His design is inspired by the City Hall in Siena, Italy.
The Round Tower
The round tower is a 17th century astronomical observatory that is part of the Trinitatis Complex, which includes the Trinitatis Church and an academic library for the neighbouring Copenhagen University. The library was opened in 1657 and once housed the university’s entire collection — around 10,000 books. Instead of stairs, the tower features a ramp that spirals to the top of the structure.

Horrible. A monotone voice bombards you with dates while background sound effects make it impossible to hear anything properly when you’re outside on a busy street (which always is the case, since it’s a walking tour). If you’re listening through an app (at least on iPhone), the audio stops automatically every time you put the app in the background or when you want to lock the screen. And then when you go back to the app, everything starts from the beginning, it doesn’t even remember when the audio paused. So basically to be able listen, you have to always have your screen on, which drains the battery instantly. I am extremely annoyed that I had to pay so much for this. Wish there was a way to get my money back.

It was fun and informative. It took me to a few places and told me things that other tours did not. If you like history and folklore, I highly recommend this tour.

Great info. However, the audio was difficult to hear. The background sounds and effects muffled the speaker. Quality became staticky when played loudly.

Thoroughly enjoyed this audio walking tour. Informative and fairly easy to find locations even though we got lost a couple of times. Found it difficult to interpret some of the street names as the pronunciation is different to the spelling. We took most of the day to visit all the locations as stopped for coffees and lunch. Would definitely recommend to others.

First time with an audio tour and although it is good to go with a guide - at the moment it seemed safer to do one of these and it had all the information we needed for a good cost.

Also Copenhagen by different reviewer: What a gorgeous city - had fun exploring on our pseudo-honeymoon as wedding had to be cancelled due to Covid - a cost saver that's for sure.

It starts by having you download the .zip file ahead of time to your smartphone. When you unzip the file there is a map, 13 audio files as well as some other files. Unlike other self guided tours which depend on the GPS signal from your phone to conduct the tour and says 'not all those who wander are lost but you seem to be lost, consult the map'. This message is very frustrating and of no help whatsoever. This tour actually provides you with audio directions to get you to each of the destinations and the map that was provided was also helpful. The facts presented at each stop were great but the audio quality could be improved along with the narrator who sounded like he was not interested in the material and was simply reading a script.
