Pape was very knowledgeable tour guide. It was a great way to see the highlights of Dakar. The tour is curated with details to attention that include avoiding the crowds at Goree island and good lighting at the statue during dusk

Top notch experience, Pape definitely has this tour down to a T. We didn’t have to wait in any lines, or deal with any crowds. The food was amazing, I recommend the ginger drink. Really glad I found this tour. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Casimir was our guide for the tour of Gorée Island. He is a great culture guide, he is passionate about his profession. He knows how to explain by making sure we follow suit. It is quiet, quiet and very good advice. Take Casimir, you will not be disappointed.

Tour guide Abdoulaye and his driver were excellent. We are English speaking and he effortlessly accommodated us. This was a full day of information. I especially wanted to see Goree Island and the African Renaissance Monument, which were included. Abdoulaye gave us pertinent facts of every landmark we passed. The price included the meal at Goree Island and pickup and return. He was magnificent.

GO! This trip was phenomenal. Pape is the kindest, funniest and the most knowledgeable guide I’ve ever encountered on any of my tours. The program is well planned, flexible enough so that it avoids the crowds and they make you feel safe and cared for entire time. Also, going to Goree island without guide doesn’t make any sense at all, so don’t make this mistake :D If you are short on time, this tour gives you pretty much 100% of Dakar and a lot of Senegalese culture and history :)

The tour was very emotional and informative, and using this company was worth it. My guide, Abdoulaye, was more than punctual for the morning pick-up as he was already waiting for me in the lobby of my hotel to begin the tour. He was courteous and knowledgeable, and along with the driver, Sadu, kept a good schedule.

I enjoyed my day in Dakar and Goree Island. I received insightful perspectives and history regarding the western part of Africa known as Senegal. I had a delicious meal and great company throughout the day with my host Abdoulaye and driver Seru who got us around with no problem. I would highly recommend the tour for a full day!
