Transportation is only included if selected in advance to secure your spot. It comes at an additional cost. There is no Uber, taxi, or public transportation available in the area.
All our groups are 14 people or smaller, for more attention to the guests.
Transportation is not available on Saturdays, Sundays, or for PM tours, and is subject to availability if it was not selected at the time of booking.
Children under 5 years old are not allowed to participate in this tour.

Embark on an unforgettable El Yunque Rainforest adventure on a small-group guided tour from San Juan, Carolina, Luquillo or Fajardo. The experience begins at your selected location—either by following the guide in your own car from Ralph’s Food Warehouse in Fajardo, or by choosing optional shuttle pickup from San Juan, Carolina, Luquillo or Fajardo for a scenic ride into the rainforest. Upon arrival at El Yunque National Forest, receive a safety briefing and life vest before starting a guided hike through lush jungle trails. Along the way, your guide will share stories about the rainforest’s history, wildlife, ecosystem, local legends, and fascinating rainforest plants. After about 25 minutes of hiking, reach a hidden natural pool where you can swim, cliff jump, or swing into the water on a rope swing. Continue to a second secluded pool featuring a smooth volcanic rock natural waterslide. Guests who select the San Juan / Carolina transportation option will also enjoy a stop at the famous Luquillo Kiosks, known for authentic Puerto Rican food, tropical drinks, and views of Luquillo Beach. After the adventure, hike back and enjoy light snacks before returning.

Duration: 3 hours
Self-Drive to El Yunque Forest: Follow the guide. Ideal for people who have their own car/rental. Transportation not included or guaranteed.
San Juan/Carolina + Beach Stop
Luquillo Beach Break: Swim, eat, and unwind before heading back stress-free. Must select this transport option before booking to secure spot.
Duration: 6 hours: Includes 1 hour stop in 'Luquillo Beach' to relax by the sea and taste authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.
From San Juan or Carolina: Ride in a comfortable vehicle to El Yunque.
Pickup included
Shuttle Ride Roundtrip
Shuttle (Luquillo or Fajardo): Includes round-trip transportation only from Luquillo or Fajardo to El Yunque and back. Ideal if you don’t have a vehicle.
Duration: 4 hours
Important note: This option doesn’t includes San Juan or Carolina as pickup location.

5.00Was super fun to hike through the beautiful jungle. Such a unique and enjoyable day. Challenging for the kids (6,6,9) but they’re used to 3-4 mile hikes.

5.00Experience was awesome, but was definitely more rock climbing than I was anticipating. Be sure to wear tennis shoes with good grip. The views were spectacular, the slide, jumps and rope swing were amazing. If you find yourself 2nd guessing yourself on one of the adventures, just do it. You won’t regret it! Migael was a great guide and made the experience what it was. He stopped periodically and gave some information about the island and some plants we saw. He also took awesome pics and videos, and have excellent recommendations!

5.00My teenage sons & I really enjoyed this - it was fun and muddy and the perfect amount of physical challenge for vacation. :) Migael was an awesome guide. We went in the afternoon. The area at the river with the waterslide & rope swing was pretty crowded (it sounds like morning tends to be less crowded), but our group was smaller than the other groups there and that was clearly the way to go. Highly recommend!

5.00You have a choice between adventurous or easier route. We took the adventurous path which was rugged and somewhat challenging for me (I'm 73 years old), but glad to have done it. Can be slippery. You have the option to wait back on the most challenging climb and enjoy the waterfalls. Our tour guide was fantastic. Thank you Miguel!!

5.00Amazing experience with a wonderful guide, Miga. He was knowledgeable, kind, and able to move a group of 15 people with various degrees of ability with grace. We loved learning about plants on the way to the water fall slides and pools. Was a perfect day!

5.00Iván is an amazing guide! He mixes facts and history with humor and love. He puts care into his tour and the whole experience was amazing. Definitely recommend doing everything there is to offer on the tour like the rock slides and the rope swing! The rainforest is a beautiful place. Also super convenient that travel is offered!

5.00Brittany was a confident, experienced guide that kept everyone calm even in the risky parts. She was strong and got 9 grown me. Even over the tougher parts to climb. A great adventure that we will talk about for a long long time.
