  We had an unforgettable experience with Madeira Sidecar Tours. From the first minute, the tour felt personal and authentic, giving us a true local perspective of Madeira Island. The vintage sidecar ride was great fun, and our guide shared interesting stories while taking us to stunning viewpoints along scenic roads. The views over the ocean and mountains were absolutely breathtaking. This tour is perfect for couples or solo travelers looking for something different from traditional tours. Safe, well organized, and definitely worth it — a must-do in Madeira.

  Luis was an excellent tour guide and brought us around some wonderful places! He introduced us to Poncha and some local snacks, he advised us on what to try/places to go if we wanted to sample some local cuisine too! The tour was excellent fun and I would highly recommend it! Luis showed us a great time and some truly beautiful parts of Madeira he also got some wonderful pictures of us! Thank you for a wonderful tour Luis!

  Very nice tour on 2 motorbikes in Funchal and its surroundings, west side and east side. Our guides were very considerate, keen to share a great time with us. They listened to what we wanted to discover. Looking for beautiful views and pretty photos sent by email. We had an excellent time, very original, it was perfect to end our trip to Madeira in style

  This was the highlight of our cruise, skilled and very friendly driver, good machines and intercom. with the helmets, this tour. reached places that coaches could not.A great experience

  I did this tour yesterday with Nat and loved it. Very professional and felt very safe. We went to Cabo girão, Fajã dos padres, Camara de lobos and other great spots. Now I just need to persuade my friends to do it with me, next week! Thank you.

  

• A Unique Way To See Madeira

  A totally unique way to see the island. We had been to Madeira twice before so I asked if we could see some of the more hidden places as we had done some of the more touristy places. Our drive Nuno on picking us up asked when we had last been to Camara Do Lobos and said he would not stop there but do a run through as it had changed quite dramatically since our last visit. He then went on to go to some of the viewpoints that are only accessible to smaller vehicles. Going through villages that obviously had so little traffic the dogs were sleeping on the roads. All the time Nuno kept us informed about the area we were passing through and the crops grown there. I must admit the view from the pillion seat is amazing as you are high up and can see all around, my partner who admits to not being a brave person was in the sidecar and really enjoyed it saying she felt comfortable and safe at all times. Nuno was very safe and reliable in his riding (these Russian outfits are not particularly fast anyway) So we just relaxed and enjoyed the trip If you want to do something a little different I can recommend it certainly better than a minibus tour.

  A brilliant scenic tour of the west of the Island. Philipe was very knowledgeable and spoke very good English. We both felt safe and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our tour. We will do it again when we are back in Madeira and do a different tour. Also, the photos he took of us were good and a great souvenir. Would definitely recommend this company

  We had a great 4 hours with Serge, a Swiss who moved to madeira to work on forests and ended up driving sidecars! He drives very well, safely and comfortably. He is also quite knowledgeable of Madeira and will talk you through lots of stories and anecdotes. Good option to discover places off the beaten track and also maximize use of your time while enjoying the scenery from an unusual point of view! Dress warm!
