Temple of Demeter
Your first stop will be the Temple of Demeter, the most significant sight in Naxos. Hear about the history of the monument and the myth regarding the goddess it is devoted to. Enjoy free time to visit the on-site museum and take pictures. Your tour guide is not licensed, thus not allowed to guide you inside the monument. You will get all the information regaridng the site before you enter.
Continue to Kaloxylos, a serene village with 50 residents. Visit a historical building that houses the island’s first electric company and its first-ever olive press. Sample some extra virgin olive oil and explore the quaint alleys of the village..

5.00The tour was wonderfully planned. Our guide Sandy was so knowledgeable. She was really good at letting us know the times for each place and being strict on scheduling while also ensuring the trip went smooth and was fun. The bus driver was impressive with some of the small roads we used, though do bring motion sickness pills for the end if that kind of thing bothers you. Each visit was quick but didnt feel rushed enough to not enjoy it. Highly suggest the watermelon pie she talks about in Halki!
Fun and engaging private tour. Well worth it.

5.00We did a private bus tour in minibus for 7 people. The tour at 4 hours was perfect and we were happy to see the interior of the island, the beautiful villages and other sites. Our guide Sandy for fun and made the tour really interesting. We really enjoyed her commentary. Thank you for a lovely half day tour.

5.00Everything about this tour was excellent, from pick up to drop off. Our lovely tour guide Aggeliki was very knowledgeable and friendly to everyone. She informed us about the historical sites we were seeing all along the way and answered everyone’s questions. She even had lunch with us – so fun! The tours of the olive oil, honey and ketron facilities were incredible and were a great experience. We were able to see village life in the countryside away from the port in Chora which we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. We’re so glad we booked this tour! Other people in our group also expressed what a nice tour it was. Thank you very much to our wonderful guide, as well as our excellent driver for a truly amazing and unforgettable day!!!
So engaging, comfortable and the commentary was along the way was informative. Beautiful villages , temple and more!!

5.00Great tour with our guide Sandy and driver Spiros! Perfect way to see more of Naxos without renting a car (and having to self-navigate some very windy narrow roads) with the benefit of local insights. The commentary from our guide gave us a great introduction to the history, mythology and food of Naxos. Also enjoyed the chance to taste various local products both at the olive oil and Kitron tastings, and at lunch/coffee stops at the different villages

5.00It was a great authetic tour with Aggeliki and Spiros. The small group and the atmosphre we're perfect and we saw all highlights of the island. I want to give a special thanks to Aggeliki because she makes her job with passion and I really enjoyed the day.

5.00Delightful half day around villages of Naxos. Our tour guide Sandy was amazing! It shows she loves what she does. She makes sure everyone has a fantastic experience. Sepiro, who drive us around was an excellent driver. From pick up to drop off, my experience was 10 /10! Thank you Sabdy and Sephiro!

5.00Our tour guide (I believe his name was Thanos?) was awesome! He was knowledgeable and fun. He grew up, so he had a deep understanding of the culture of Naxos. This tour was very fun and informative, with plenty of stops to explore some villages without ever feeling rushed.
Highly recommend this tour. We lived the day!

5.00The driver Spiros and our tour guide were great. Visiting the 4 mountain villages were beautiful and the scenery from one to the other were spectacular . What a great day!
