2.00overall it was a well-organized and informative experience. The guide was knowledgeable and shared a lot of historical context that I probably wouldn’t have picked up just wandering around on my own. It was a nice introduction to Old Montreal and helped put many of the landmarks into perspective. That said, I personally felt it was a bit on the pricey side for a two-hour walking tour. If you really value hearing stories and insights directly from a local — especially at a relaxed pace — you’ll likely enjoy it. However, most of the spots covered are major landmarks that you can easily research and explore on your own, so if you’re comfortable doing that, you might feel it’s expensive for what’s offered.
Great way to explore old Montreal.

5.00The tour hits the highlights of old Montreal. Starting in the west the old financial district along Rue St-Jacques and finishing up east at the Bonsecours Market, the tour really give you a flavor for Montreal‘s early history.

5.00We enjoyed this 2 hour walking tour of old Montreal. Our guide Louise was very knowledgeable, friendly and answered all our questions. Tour has a significant amount of walking with several indoor stops to get a break from the winter cold. Still bundle up in winter. We learned all about the history and settlement of Montreal, the architecture and neighborhoods.

5.00Louise was great in storytelling and giving background of buildings, architecture, and area. We felt very lucky to have her! Walking was minimal effort and just right for those who can't walk too fast.
