Canal Food Walk invites you to explore the vibrant Canal Saint-Martin through a 3-hour walking tour. Stroll charming streets, discover hidden gems, street art, and passionate artisans.
Trendy, artistic, and full of local favorites, this offbeat neighborhood captures the creative spirit of Paris.
Led by a local architect, the tour reveals the district’s unique history and transformation.
The tour is intimate (max 10 people) and features carefully selected food and drinks: organic, local, seasonal, vegetarian, zero-waste, and handmade.
Choose your experience:
Brunch Tour — A relaxed morning with fresh pastries, cheeses, eggs, and hot and fresh drinks. Ends with a coffee tasting at a local roastery.
Apéro Tour — Celebrate the beloved French ritual with 3 drinks (including wine), generous organic veggie bites by a talented chef, and a duo of artisanal pastries. Ends with a toast by the water.
Available on Saturdays.
Tuesday to Saturday on Spring Break.

5.00My tour with Nita was great. She is awesome. She communicated with me prior to the tour to make sure I knew all of the details. She took us around an area of Paris that I would have never seen on my own. The food was great. We had wine and tasty bites. She has created a great tour and highly recommend it. All the restaurants were in different parts of the area, so we got to see a lot of unique places. The best part was that a boat came through the canal and locks, so that was neat to see. Book it!!

5.00A great experience all round. Nita is enthusiastic and knows a lot about the neighborhood. She picks places for the tastings, which she personally loves. All this makes it a very friendly, unpretentious afternoon, where you get to see a slice of Paris you wouldn't otherwise have access to. I heartily recommend.

5.00This walking tour was so much fun. Meeting Nanet was easy, she was like hanging out with an old lovely friend. I really enjoyed hanging out with the locals and embracing all the little cool spots to eat. I highly recommend going on this tour if you want to live like a perisian for a few hours.

5.00The food tour around Canal Saint-Martin was a real treat. Tahani was friendly and shared great and a lot of local stories while we tasted amazing cheeses, pastries, and natural wine. Even as a Parisian, I learned so many new things about the Canal Saint-Martin area. It’s a charming, off-the-beaten-path area that shows a more authentic side of Paris. Highly recommend!

We joined the Aperitif Tour around the Canal Saint-Martin with Nita, an amazing guide who brought the neighborhood’s history to life through captivating stories and fun local anecdotes. The artisans who welcomed us were so generous, offering tastings of exceptional wines, delicious dishes, and perfectly aged cheeses. I already knew the area, but discovering it in this way through food, stories, and genuine encounters was incredible. A truly gourmet, friendly, and cultural experience. 5.00I absolutely loved the Canal Food Walk at Canal Saint Martin! Our guide, Nita, made the experience truly special with her warm personality and passion for her neighborhood. She introduced us to her favorite local spots and gave us a real taste of Paris beyond the usual tourist paths. It was a unique opportunity to discover the “real” Paris, with fantastic bars, restaurants, and cafés. Highly recommended!
