On this unique and complete tour, we will delve into the history, culture and gastronomy of the "Barrio Bravo", Tepito.
We will walk together to one of the main streets of the neighborhood and enter Tepito. First, we will guide you through the various stalls of one of the largest and most labyrinthine street markets in Latin America, with more than 12,000 stalls. Then, we will visit the famous and beautiful sports center "El Maracana" and the main church, "San Francisco de Assisi", located in the heart of Tepito.
Continuing our tour, we will take you through streets that only we, the Tepiteños, know, giving you an exclusive perspective of the different residential areas.
Finally, we will visit one of the most famous altars in Mexico, the altar of "La Santa Muerte". If you have any questions contact us.

5.00It was a great tour. Not only did I get to see all the Tepito areas that were difficult to reach on my own, but I also got to know its history and culture in depth. Tepito is not a dangerous area for foot traffic, and I was asked how I would deal with Tepito in the presence of people who live there and those who do. Vague fears dissipated by the end of the tour.
Exceptional experience highly reccomend to anyone trying to get a deeper sense of CDMX

5.00Exceptional experience with a knowledgeable guide to get to know an important part of CDMX. I’ve taken a lot of tours during my stay in the city and this was one of my favorite. Nelly made sure we were completely safe and knew the local etiquette to remain respectful. She shared in depth history of Tepito and shared her stories. The food was delicious and I felt like I got a deeper knowledge of the city by experiencing this neighborhood. Highly reccomend for any tourist trying to get a better sense of the city beyond the Roma/Condesa/Centro circuit.

5.00I went on this tour in Tepito with my local guide Gaby and had a blast! The trip lasted a few hours and I ate amazing food, learned a ton about this neighborhood, and I felt safe the entire time. Everywhere we went someone stopped Gaby to say hi and wish her well; everyone was very nice and I felt at home. If you’re considering taking this tour then definitely give it a try! You won’t regret it, it’s a nice change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the city center. Thanks again for the tour Gaby, I loved it!

5.00Don't let the rest of the internet freak you out -- we felt totally safe the whole time. Lili is a great guide and a genuinely friendly person, plus she helped us buy a couple of things in the market. It was a fun and interesting tour, and there's no way you could do this on your own.

5.00The tour in Tepito was really interesting, it was a nice insight of all the aspects of the history and daily lives of the Tepiteños (the big market, the Santa muerte altar, how people live, the churches, the sports places, the local gastronomy and drinks... The guide Nelly also talked with very good English and was very kind! I would recommend this tour!
