Step outside your comfort zone and immerse yourself in one of the best and most unique experiences that CDMX has to offer.

On this unique and complete tour, we will delve into the history, culture and gastronomy of the "Barrio Bravo", Tepito.

We will walk together to one of the main streets of the neighborhood and enter Tepito. First, we will guide you through the various stalls of one of the largest and most labyrinthine street markets in Latin America, with more than 12,000 stalls. Then, we will visit the famous and beautiful sports center "El Maracana" and the main church, "San Francisco de Assisi", located in the heart of Tepito.

Continuing our tour, we will take you through streets that only we, the Tepiteños, know, giving you an exclusive perspective of the different residential areas.

Finally, we will visit one of the most famous altars in Mexico, the altar of "La Santa Muerte". If you have any questions contact us.

Don't let the rest of the internet freak you out -- we felt totally safe the whole time. Lili is a great guide and a genuinely friendly person, plus she helped us buy a couple of things in the market. It was a fun and interesting tour, and there's no way you could do this on your own.

The tour in Tepito was really interesting, it was a nice insight of all the aspects of the history and daily lives of the Tepiteños (the big market, the Santa muerte altar, how people live, the churches, the sports places, the local gastronomy and drinks... The guide Nelly also talked with very good English and was very kind! I would recommend this tour!

It was an honor to visit Tepito and to have Nelly as a guide. Having a fifth generation local show you around is the only way. The tour was full of community history, food, joy and life. And the best michelada I’ve ever had. (The reason we went the first time was for the Santa Muerte shrine, and discovered that everything that led up to that visit was beautiful, from the market to the music to the people- all of it held a fierce joy.) Tepito has a feeling of community taking care of community, of laughter and of partying. Living. It was our favorite experience of Mexico City- so good that we visited again with Nelly two days later. We would have even gone to Tepito again if time had allowed. Truly a magical, fierce place that I fell in love with. Book no other guides than the folks here, they’re the best there is. Thank you Nelly! We will be back again.

I must say, when visiting Mexico City, one of the best experiences has been to know the neighborhood of Tepito. A place full of traditions, neighborhood culture and real Mexican cuisine. Ever since I decided to take the tour, Gaby was always attentive to answering all doubts and inspired me with confidence and confidence from start to finish. Gaby is a person of generations in Tepito and there is nothing better than to walk its streets with a local. I recommend in closed eyes to trust it, it is a very good tour and as advice go without breakfast, because it eats very well and very rich!!!

Nelly was an amazing person and your guide. Extremely knowledgeable and personable. She is from Tepito and her family has an amazing restaurant there. She will make you feel at home on this one of a kind neighborhood. Strongly recommend this tour coming from someone who doesn't like to take a lot of tours. This is as authentic as it gets, bring an appetite and an open mind!

The gastronomic tour of Tepito has been the best I have done in my history as a traveler. The guide was born, raised and lives in the neighborhood, and knows her neighbors and their streets like the back of her hand. With it, you are assured of the authentic experience of someone who lives in 'the Bravo neighborhood'. I cannot recommend every route they offer on FeelCDMX enough.
