The pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx are among the most popular tourist destinations in the world. The Great Pyramid of Giza was built for king Khufu , and the other two for Khafre and Menkaure, his son and grandson. Khufu’s pyramid is both the oldest and largest of the three. Although the three pyramids dominate the plateau, they are in fact surrounded by many other monuments. Every king’s pyramid was just one element albeit the most important of a larger complex that included smaller, subsidiary, queens’ pyramids and the valley temple. 5.00Gamil is not only a lovely guy, but very very knowledgable about the whole site of the pyramids and their history. On top of that - everything ran smoothly, and I felt comfortable the whole time (as a solo female traveler). I would not hesitate to book again with Gamil, my next time in Egypt. 5.00We really enjoyed the morning with Gamil at the Pyramids. He really enjoys his job which you can feel every second. He has great knowledge and is always in for a good joke. (Besides even though we are not really into tourist photos, he did a great job taking good pictures ;) ) We would definitely recommend this tour with Gamil.

5.00We had an excellent and wonderful time with our guide Gamil, visiting the temples, the pyramids, the sphinx. He balances great knowledge with panoramic sightseeing, and makes great photographs which make souvenirs for life. He also helped us find a nice restaurant to have lunch after our tour, where we had a great Egyptian meal. We would definitely recommend Gamil again!
