Escape the crowds and immerse yourself in the rugged, untamed beauty of the Rhinogs, a hidden gem in southern Snowdonia. Starting near Bronaber, we'll lead you on a carefully planned route through the heart of the Rhinogs. This journey includes exhilarating ascents, dramatic ridges, scrambling up gullies and hidden valleys that showcase the area's raw beauty. Highlights of the Day: Rhinog Fawr (720m): A rocky climb to one of the range's highest peaks. At the summit, enjoy panoramic views stretching to the Irish Sea, Cadair Idris, and even Snowdon on clear days. Rhinog Fach (712m): Cross the iconic Bwlch Drws Ardudwy, an ancient mountain pass, and ascend this striking peak. The ascent offers exciting scrambles and rewards you with views over Llyn Hywel, a glittering mountain lake. Mountain lakes and waterfalls: We'll pass a number of swim spots throughout the day if you fancy a cooling dip. This guided day out is perfect for those who enjoy a challenge and want to explore beyond the well-trodden paths. This experience is ideal for hikers with moderate fitness and a love for wild landscapes.
