A 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. A refund processing fee of 6% applies. The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Viator.com and Viator-affiliated websites, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement.

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.

Keep in mind that Quito is 2867 metres above sea level. We recommend that you give yourself at least one day to acclimatise. Have a good night's sleep and eat lightly on the day of your tour. These all help combat altitude sickness.

It is imperative that you have current travel insurance including personal medical insurance. If you do not, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Quito Bike Tours be held responsible for any injuries incurred.

Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.

Quito Bike Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notifications due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. A refund or reschedule will be organised. An administrative fee will be applied to all refunds.

We start from the iconic Ochoymedio Arthouse Cinema. We take a look at the amazing street art around La Floresta as well as tell you about some of the artists who painted them. We also visit a funky cafe and get to try something yummy.

Amazonas Street and the Botanic Garden We make our way to Carolina Park and visit the Botanic Garden, riding along Amazonas Avenue, one of the main arteries of the modern city. We get to stop for a pretty cool photo shoot too!

I would highly recommend a trip with Quito Bike Tours. This trip is great way to go for a ride and learn about Ecuador. I was lucky to have amazing guides who were both friendly and knowledgeable. All of the stops were fantastic, I loved the tasting the fruits at the market, and the botanical garden.I would certainly book another trip with them. I really hope I do so again!

Excellent! Extremely knowledgeable and had two guides to stop traffic for safety. Several great stops great food and tastings. Highly recommend!

We just finished our bicycle city tour of Quito. We had an amazing day with Milton, our guide and Christian our safety rider. Milton started us off with stretching exercises and fitting our high quality bikes to our sizes. We then road to numerous stops to learn about Quito, Ecuadorean culture and history, botanicals and birds. Milton is extremely knowledgeable about a wide variety of topics and shared them in an interesting way. Christian followed us or blocked traffic keeping us safe throughout our tour. Visiting the market, chocolate tasting, view point overlooking the city and the Botanical Gardens were a few of the highlights. The biking was easy for most of the tour but got a little harder for the last 3 stops. The Giant bikes have 20 gears to assist on the hills during that part. Price was very fair and the communication was also good. I highly recommend this tour if you have free time in Quito and enjoy riding a bike.

I was only person in group. The English of tour guy was not good enough to really tell me full details about places. Quito is not a fun bike ride and exhaust is pretty bad. I would not recommend bike ride for Quito.

I would definitely recommend this tour to cyclist of any level visiting Quito. The staff have developed relationships with specific vendors to make the tour stops really enjoyable. At the central market I sampled freshly made juices and exotic fruits I’d never experienced before. At the chocolate tasting not only was there an amazing variety of types to try, as an added value I got a history and education of the origins of the cocoa bean, and in a setting with a spectacular view. My guide, Jhonatan was very affable and knowledgeable, able to converse in English with ease and confidence. Fearless Julio helped us navigate the relatively few challenging intersections by stoping traffic to ensure safe passage. The personalized service was everything you could hope for. I am so glad I chose this tour!

Very good tour! Highly recommended for those who want to know Quito, its local markets, history and architecture of the city. Tasting of first-rate chocolates. A spectacular experience! Jhonatan and Alexios were the guides. Very good job!

I contacted quitotour group when all tour departures were gone out for the day and Catalina was awesome in accommodating me on such short notice. I met the group at La Carolina Park and they had all my equipment/ gear ready. Daniel and Jlonathan ( tour guides for the day) brought me up to speed on the nature of the tour and we were in our way. They were thorough in terms of their explanations of the history, culture of an area etc, and kept up to my pace when it was so tough for me to go up on a hill. With Jlonathan riding in front of the group directing us through traffic and Daniel behind making sure no one was left behind, I felt safe and secure in their company. It was an awesome experience .
