The standard Cancellation and Refund policy for suppliers is:
A 100% refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. A refund processing fee of 6% applies. The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Viator.com and Viator-affiliated websites, and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
Keep in mind that Quito is 2867 metres above sea level. We recommend that you give yourself at least one day to acclimatise. Have a good night's sleep and eat lightly on the day of your tour. These all help combat altitude sickness.
It is imperative that you have current travel insurance including personal medical insurance. If you do not, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES will Quito Bike Tours be held responsible for any injuries incurred.
Please inform us of any known medical conditions you have.
Quito Bike Tours reserves the right to change the itinerary without previous notifications due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. A refund or reschedule will be organised. An administrative fee will be applied to all refunds.

Tips (optional and with absolutely no pressure). We are not a free tour and you can be sure that we pay our guides properly. However, if you wish to tip your guide you can absolutely do so. You can also be assured that not one cent (and that’s the way we want it!) will go to the company. Whatever you wish to give to your guide goes 100% to him or her.

5.00Catalina was amazing. Starting with the pickup from the airport, we spent 3 days with her going to hot springs, Cotopaxi, and an urban bike tour. She was full of helpful advice, very flexible with our 8 person group, and kept in constant communication with us regarding timing and options.

5.00David was an amazing tour guide. Attentive, knowledgeable and constantly making sure we were safe and having fun. Paul was just as amazing bringing up the rear of our bike line and always making sure we were safe. Our drive was also great! I can’t recommend this day tour enough. It was fantastic! Thanks for a fabulous day!

5.00We did the cultural bike tour with just 4 of us and 2 guides and the day was fantastic. Jonathon was a wealth of knowledge about Quito and Ecuador, and it was clear that he enjoyed sharing his country and culture with us. Danny was our second guide and he helped us navigate traffic and intersections, making sure we had a safe experience. We had a wonderful time at the local market, where we sampled delicious juices and local fruits. We ended the day at a chocolate tasting and enjoyed the view from the top deck as well as the fantastic chocolate options. We have done many bike sightseeing tours and this one was a cut above the others. I highly recommend Quito Bike Tours for a great way to experience the city!

5.00We had a family, two teenage girls. We had wonderful weather on this day, which helps. Tour guides (Jonathan and Daniel). Very very good. Knowledgeable, safe, friendly. The tour lay out was perfect for us, but I would encourage you to let them know your interests. I would encourage you to be physically fit or ask to not do the areas with steeper hills. We did the hills and enjoyed, but challenging in a few points. They use nice bikes and safety equipment. I felt very safe. Thank you both for a wonderful tour!
Everything was better than I ever could have imagined truly wonderful service!!

5.00We had 2 guides for our own safety. One was at the very front and gave the direction, the other at the end paid attention and sometimes closed off the road with his bike at intersections so we could cross unhindered. While we received very extensive information about the main sights, the second guide was watching on our bikes. So we could go unhindered to basilicas, museums, markets, etc. Our guide explained us with many interesting stories country and people. He has a great knowledge of the history of the country and could answer any question we had. With a lot of heart and brain he gave us a sense of people and their traditions. The bike ride through Quito was very nice, informative and an experience. We will not forget this day.

5.00We wanted to take a simple bike ride to Quito, and Catalina prepared us an entire tailor-made trip. Without asking anything in exchange, she picked us up at the airport, gave us the benefit of her 20 years of experience in tourism in Ecuador and all in a way adapted to our situation: a couple with a 7-year-old child. Everything she could offer us was 100% sure in terms of safety and quality. She always left us the choice to take the excursions she offered us, or to do by ourselves with good advice. The bike tour: Transfer from the hotel to the starting point by minibus. We had not one but four people to supervise us. From the north of the city to the historic center, for almost 30 km, we passed through parks, had valuable comments, ate a typical delicious meal, tasted chocolate, visited a church with a friendly Francophone guide. Although it was a bit much the day after a long plane trip, we understood the physiognomy of this city. Maybe the bike ride wasn't really suitable for a 7-year-old girl, or maybe the stops didn't take her into account enough. In any case, they made a lot of effort to make her comfortable, until changing her bike by an electric with child seat along the way. Return to the hotel at the end by private minibus. The next day, visit Mindo, and leave the same evening for the Amazon by night bus, no time wasted! For the other excursions, we had a Francophone guide (Paul) who accompanied us with his comfortable vehicle. Always extremely respectful of barrier gestures (we are in Covid-19 pandemic). Paul taught us so much about Ecuador, its mountains, its communities, its animals, I can't thank him enough! Catalina is more than an organizer, she was a guardian angel that I could contact 7/7 and 24 hours a day for her advice that have always proved valuable. Our stay was supposed to last 21 days, we extended it for another 20 days!

5.00It was an amazing experience, Quito Bike Tours prepared a private, all personalized tour for me and my girlfriend to celebrate our 2 years anniversary. It was amazing, we had a lot of fund, Quito Bike Tours' staff was super nice and gave us a great experience. They algo prepared a lot of surprises for us to celebrate our anniversary!! I fully recommend Quito Bike Tours!
