Ahsan Manzil

Ahsan Manzil was the official residential palace and seat of the Nawab of Dhaka. The building is situated at Kumartoli along the banks of the Buriganga River in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Construction was started in 1859 and was completed in 1872. It was constructed in the Indo-Saracenic Revival architecture.

Bagerhat

Bagerhat District is a district in South-western Bangladesh. It is a part of the Khulna Division. It is a Mosque City, a 15th century Muslim city once called Khalifatabad, which is the present day Bagerhat and is an UNESCO protected world heritage site.

The Sixty Dome Mosque, is a mosque in Bangladesh. It is part of the Mosque City of Bagerhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest mosque in Bangladesh from the sultanate period. It was built during the Bengal Sultanate by Ulugh Khan Jahan, the governor of the Sundarbans.

The Nine Dome Mosque is a historic mosque in the Mosque City of Bagerhat in Bangladesh. It was built during the governorship of Khan Jahan Ali in the 15th-century, under the reign of the Bengal Sultanate. The Nine Dome Mosque is located to the west of the takur dighi tank and built in the 15th century, it is close to Khan Jahan Ali's Tomb. Its western wall conventionally faces west towards Mecca. It has been since substantially restored. Close to this mosque are the Zinda Pir Mosque and mazar (tomb), which are in ruins.

The Singair Mosque is one of the mosques that form part of the Mosque City of Bagerhat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site in Bangladesh. It is located adjacent to the Sixty Dome Mosque. It is a square shaped single dome mosque, which was typical in the architecture of the Bengal Sultanate.

Tomb of Khan Jahan Ali

One of the most acclaimed historical place in Bagerhat. The dargah complex of Kkhan Jahan Ali or tomb of Saint Khan Jahan Ali is located 2km east-southeast of Sait Gumbad Mosque. There is a very large pond at the north side of tomb, which is called Khan Jahan Ali Dighi. Saint Khan Jahan Ali founded some townships, built mosques, madrasahs and sarais, roads, highways and bridges, excavated a large number of dighis in the districts of greater Jessore and Khulna. He died on 25 October 1459 . The tomb’s accommodates a stone built sarcophagus in the middle of the floor & actual grave underneath. The sarcophagus is profusely engraved with verses from the holy Quran, Persian expressions. The most notable of his architectural monuments is Shatgumbaj Mosque or the Sixty Dome Mosque.

Kodla Moth is a very beautiful Hindu temple from 17th century. It's design is very unique. It is made with terracotta brick with hieroglyphic which indicates their tradition, life style etc.

The Sundarbans

The Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. It spans from the Hooghly River in India's state of West Bengal to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh.

Harbaria Eco Park is one of the craziest spot in Sundarbans with full of excitement. You may see deer, monkey, crocodile and lot of different birds. If you are lucky enough then you might also witness the Royal Bengal Tiger.

Before sunset, explore a small canal on a noiseless Wooden row boat is search wildlife. They come to drink water in the evening and morning on the creeks and canals. You’ll seat on the boat quietly and float by on a breath-taking environment listening to many birds singing, and the calls of many animals. We’ll reach Kochikhali in the evening and stop for the night hold. Stay overnight on the boat in a sleeping cabin, Anchoring in the middle of the river in front of Kochikhali forest station.

Visit Jamtola Beach is the only exception in Sundarbans tour. Because of the remoteness of the beach, not many people can come here. Located deep inside Sundarbans beside the Bay of Bengal, Jamtola beach is the cleanest, nicest, and quietest beach in Bangladesh.

Kotka beach is one of the beautiful tourist spots among the entire Sundarbans where you can do a jungle trail along with night stay. It is actually a sanctuary area for the wild animals and UNESCO declared world heritage site. In Kotka, deer and monkeys can be seen many in numbers and the predators as the Royal Bengal Tiger can be seen sometimes.

The Sundarbans

Morning go for a boat ride on the noiseless wooden row boat at 06.00 A.M. and explore a canal near the forest station. Return to the main boat at 07.30 A.M. and have breakfast. We’ll start our journey toward Mongla from here through other small rivers and canals. Visit a fishing village and Koromjal Crocodile Breeding Center on the way, reach Mongla in the late afternoon, and drive to Khulna.

Rajshahi City

Transfer to Khulna Railway Station and depart for Rajshahi At 06.30 A.M. on 715 Kapotaksha Express.Arrive Rajshahi around 12.20 P.M, transfer to hotel. After check-in, freshen up and take lunch, drive to Puthia.

Puthia Temple Complex

Puthia is a culturally rich sub-district (Upazila) of the Rajshahi district in Bangladesh. The largest number of historically significant Hindu structures in Bangladesh is found in Puthia. Many of these structures are well preserved and puthia is an interesting area for tourist to explore and gain insight to the history and culture of Bangladesh.

Choto Shona Mosque is located in Chapai Nawabganj district of Bangladesh. The mosque is situated about 3 kilometres south of the Kotwali Gate and 0.5 kilometres to the south-east of the Mughal Tahakhana complex in the Firozpur Quarter.

Chapainawabganj is located on the north-western part of Bangladesh. It is a part of the Rajshahi Division. Initially, it was a sub-division of Malda district. In 1947, it was severed from Malda and was given to East Pakistan as a sub-division of Rajshahi district. It became a separate district of Bangladesh in 1984.

Kusumba Mosque

Kusumba Mosque is named after the village of Kusumba. It was built during the period of Afghan rule in Bangladesh by a high-ranking official named Sulaiman. It was built under one of the last Suri rulers. His name was Ghiyasuddin Bahadur Shah.Although the mosque was built under the suri rule, the architectural pattern was not influenced by the earlier Suri architecture of North India. It was constructed with a Bengal style. At the eastern central entrance, inscription mentioned the time period of construction of the mosque to 966 AH (1558-59 AD).

Somapura Mahavihara in Paharpur, Badalgachhi Upazila, Naogaon District, Bangladesh is among the best known Buddhist viharas in the Indian Subcontinent and is one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1985. it is built in 8th century AD.

After breakfast drive to Sariakandi (42 km, 01 hr). Visit some chars (river islands) of river Jamuna and see how people live on those small inlands stuggling with the natural disasters. If you need some free time, you can skip visiting this Chars. Drive to Dhaka (250 Km, 08 hrs)

Sreemangal

Pick up from hotel at 6.30 A.M. Transfer to Airport Railway station. Depart for Sreemangal at 07.00 A.M on 709 Parabat Express. Arrive Sreemangal around 11.00 A.M, transfer to the resort. In the afternoon, walk through the trails inside tea gardens, visit some pineapple gardens and lemon orchards. Also show you the tea deposit activities on a tea garden Before sunset (if available) when female workers gather to deposit their tea leaves which they collected during the whole day, which is photogenic. After that we’ll take you to Nilkontho Tea cabin to teste the famous 7 layer tea of Sreemangal.

Lawachara National Park

Lawachara National Park is a major national park and nature reserve in Bangladesh. The park is located at Kamalganj Upazila, Maulvi Bazar District in the northeastern region of the country. It is located within the 2,740 ha West Bhanugach Reserved Forest. Biological diversity in the Lawachara National Park consists of 460 species, of which 167 species are plants, 4 amphibian species, 6 reptile species, 246 bird species, 20 mammal species, and 17 insect species. One of this is the critically endangered western hoolock gibbons, of which only 62 individuals remain in the area.

Baikka Beel Wetland Sanctuary

Baikka Beel is a large, shallow lake at the southern end of the wetland Hail Haor. It is located midway between Sreemongol and Molvi Bazar. The haor, whose 4000 hectares swell to 14000 in monsoon, is vast, but Baikka Beel covers only 170 hectares. It was set up as a permanent wetland sanctuary in 2003. Fishing is banned in the beel and its healthy fish population encourages winter birds to congregate here every year. It is perhaps the closest thing to a real bird sanctuary in Bangladesh.

Flowing from the Indian part, the river Myntdu enters Lalakhal as the Saree and meets the river Guaiyan after passing Sarighat. Over a stretch of nearly 12 km of the river from Lalakhal to Sarighat, the colour of the water stays transparent green in winter (as well as in other seasons when it does not rain) due to the minerals flowing with water and the sandy river bed.

The Buddha Dhatu Jadi is located close to Balaghata town, in Bandarban City, in Bangladesh. Dhatu are the material remains of a holy person, and in this temple the relics belong to Buddha. It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second-largest Buddha statue in the country.
