• Most memorable first day in Lima!

  We booked the Exploring Markets and Street Food in Lima, expecting to be in a small group up to 15 passengers. We were pleasantly surprised when Juan arrived to pick us up at our hotel and informed us we were having a private tour today. Juan is extremely knowledgeable, with very fluent English and Spanish language skills. He showed us parts of Lima often overlooked by visitors who focus more on typical tourist attractions. We visited a street market which carried anything your heart could imagine. We sampled so many unique and interesting fruits. Then we visited a wholesale meat and produce market to see how the food makes it to our tables. From there we went to China town for some local specialities, and a few street food offerings. We had the most amazing afternoon with Juan, and he made our first day the most memorable launch of our two week vacation in Peru. I highly recommend booking your Lima excursions with this company.

  The tour was interesting, eye-opening, informative. A tour that everyone should take when visiting Lima to fully understand the people of Lima and the challenges many of them face. While foodie tours and market tours were also enjoyed by us, this one was the most memorable and impactful. Alfredo was the perfect tour guide and advocate.

  My grown son and I visited the local fruit and veggie market, as we were curious about Peruvian food. There were so many unique fruits that we had never seen in the US. Unfortunately we had no way to communicate with the vendors to ask questions. We immediately returned to the hotel and booked the market tour with Peruvian Worldview for ourselves, and husband and grown daughter. We met Lucas that afternoon for our tour. He is passionate about his Peruvian produce and he explained to us about Peruvian farming, as he had spent time on his family's farm as a child. Lucas' English was very good as he explained to us the interesting fruits we had seen earlier in the day and we were able to taste most of them. It was a fun, informative tour.
