The Sacred Valley Tour is one of the most popular tours in the region. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a crucial area for the Inca Empire and it functioned as both an agricultural, spiritual and political center for them.
Throughout its length there are many Inca and Pre-Inca sites that can be found, and the Classic Sacred Valley Tour visits the 2 main sites, Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Lasting a full day, you will get to appreciate the fine works of craftsmanship that the Incas produced and see the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley.
On this Extended Sacred Valley Tour we will also visit the archeological site of Moray and the Maras salt mines. On our way back to Cusco we will visit the gorgeous Lake Huaypo (based on time).

Travelling with a friend instead of a guide

5.00Great trip that includes the highlights of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. Christian was a fantastic guide, it felt more like travelling with a friend than with a guide! Even though Machu Picchu was a bit rainy, he made our visit truly unforgettable. Highly recommend!

5.00We did the 2 days 1 night tour to secret valley with Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu mountain and we recommend Action Peru Treks! We had a very good service from the beginning to the end of our tour. The service was very professional, with clear explanations of all the steps, English speakers guides all the time ( super knowledgeable, friendly and kind) excellent choices of hotel for the overnight and restaurant for dinner. Highly recommend their services and this option of tour if you wish to explore this amazing area without camping and / or staying many nights around.

I enjoyed the the professional guide service and the attention to all the details by the entire crew to making our journey exciting and comfortable. 5.00Odon was our guide and he was awesome! This tour and this company is highly recommended. The food, the sights, the mountain people, all excellent! Our private tour of the citadel was outstanding. The trains in and out were a nice touch. Communication before and during the tour are topnotch!

5.00We did this activity with Action Peru Treks. We had a very positif and nice experience with them. They are very professional in following up and sending you emails about how to get ready and what to bring with you in advance.They picked us up from our hotel on time. Our Tour guide Kliser was very informed and pleasant and nice. He was very passionate about his job and it reflected in the way he explained and demonstrated things. To top it all; he has a very cute British accent and he knew all the perfect spots to take your picture and was very patient with us. Even the chauffeur was so polite and courteous, he would put a step for us to come down from the bus, which was spotless and very clean and comfortable. We were 4 and they took us on a private tour. It is an amazing tour to do to explore this area in Cusco. The landscaping is outstanding and all the stops were very interesting places to visit. My favorite was the salt pools. We did this before trecking the Inca trail the next day which was a very smart idea to get you used to the altitude. I would definitely recommend this company and would use them again if we go back to Cusco.
