Join our experienced instructors in the spectacular Fálkaklettur (translates to Falcon Rock) Via Ferrata. We offer guided tours that provide an unforgettable experience with spectacular views over the ocean towards Reykjavik city.
Starting from Mt. Esja parking lot, only a 25 minutes drive from Reykjavik city center. The tour takes 3 hours. Climbing Fálkaklettur is a great achievement you can be proud of, overcoming challenges.
Via ferrata (means iron path in Italian) originates in the European Alps but is now a popular sport all over the world. It is a protected climbing route with steel cables which the climber clips into using specialized climbing equipment.

5.00Such a beautiful experience. From the moment we entered the space , which was homey and cozy and had fresh cookies awaiting our arrival per Bjarnpora. We suited up and went over safety instructions from Haraldur who guided us through our second ever via Ferrata. I felt safe while adventurous. I wish more people could have this experience .
Reminded my never to say never - as I had stated never to cross this pass. Now I am looking forward to do it again.

5.00I went on this tour with my wife and we both highly recommend it! It was absolutely amazing — thrilling at times, but we never once felt unsafe. Haraldur is a true professional with decades of experience, and it really shows. He also took plenty of great photos of us and kindly shared them afterwards. The whole experience felt very personal and homely, with outstanding service from start to finish

5.00I can’t recommend the Via Ferrata at Fálkaklettur enough ! It’s a perfect mix of challenge and reward. The climb is fun and the scenery on top is stunning. Our guide Elli was wonderful, encouraging and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience and a unique activity that I highly recommend to anyone who’s up for a little adventure.

5.00We went on a Via Ferrata trip with Fálkaklettur and had an amazing time! None of us had tried this before, but the guides were extremely professional, patient, and encouraging. The whole experience took about three hours and was a perfect mix of challenge and fun. Some sections were quite technical, but with the guides’ help we all made it to the top and felt great about it. Highly recommend this adventure to anyone looking for something exciting and well-organized in Iceland!

5.00Wonderfuly made via ferrata, loved it all the way. Few routes to pick depending on your abilities. Great way to spend your day in nature with friends or family. The sight on top is beyond beautiful. Enjoyed every step and every view.

5.00Went on an absolutely amazing climbing trip — it was a little terrifying but at the same time insanely rewarding. That rush of adrenaline, looking down and thinking “why am I doing this?” — and then pushing through it and actually conquering yourself… that was the best feeling. Reaching the top and taking in the view felt like a pure win. The staff was fantastic too — calm, professional and super encouraging the whole time. You could tell they knew exactly what they were doing and they made the whole experience both safe and fun. 100% recommend for anyone who wants to push themselves a bit and experience something unforgettable.

5.00Um weekend forum við vinkonur úr vinnunni í klifurferð á Fálkaklett í Esjunni. This was a unique experience that was only for the cash. We have the opportunity to proof ourselves with the help of Haralds Örn Ólafssonar. This was an um leið spennandi and krefjandi. We went out for thegindarammann a komum to baka með proud and jákvætt hugarfar. Such uplifanir strengthkja not only sjálfið heldur gefa líka orku and sjálfstraust in í daily starf. I shall give you a journey to Fálkafellið for those who want to make something creative, grandi and enjoyable together.
