  Evelyn was our guide and she was great. We had the place to ourselves. It's a new distillery and I can't wait to go back when the restaurant opens. Nice unpeated lowland malt.

  I run tea in the tailgate central Scotland, and arrange a meet there on the 9th may and arranged a tour for everyone that came to the meet up, everything about the distillery and experience exceeded our expectations, we met the owner who are amazing and Ray carried out our tour which was amazing.   I have visited quite a number of distilleries and The Falkirk Distillery was definitely one of the best tours. Ray, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Also, unlike some other visits, I felt the time spent on the tour was just about right. Finally, the 3 drams at the end were very enjoyable. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

  We had a fascinating visit. Evelyn our guide was so interesting and well informed. We were taken through from the vision for the distillery when it was founded, to the excitement of the first bottling, to plans for the future - a fascinating journey. Tasting the end product was a real treat! We plan to revisit in the future to see how the journey continues.

  Falkirk distillery doesn’t have the same panache about it as Rosebank distillery just a couple of miles along the road. However what it lacked, was more than made up by Ray who took the tour. He made the ‘process of making whisky’ very interesting, throwing in a few funnies along the way. Well worth the £25

  The tourist such good fun. Ray, the Ops Manager took us round and was such good fun. Ray is incredibly knowledgeable and adds comedy relief throughout. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Falkirk a couple of times already, and each time we see so much progress with all they’re doing - excited to see what the restaurant looks like once it’s finished!!!

  Despite living less than 2 miles from the distillery I had never visited it and so when I was gifted a tour for Christmas I was intrigued to find out if it was any good. Well I wasn't disappointed, from the minute you walk through the front door your are greeted in a relaxed and friendly manner. Our guide for the tour was Evelyn and she was a fountain of knowledge taking us through the various stages of whisky making and explaining the history of how Falkirk Distillery came to be. I've been on quite a few distillery tours in my time and it was nice to have a guide who actually enjoys drinking whisky and not not just reciting from the script. At the end of the tour we got to the best part, the tasting. There were three different releases and each had a unique flavour all of their own. However the Kelpies Sherry cask was by far my favourite and needless to say I procured a bottle to enjoy later. There were hints that the distillery will be opening a restaurant in the not too distant future and that is something to look forward to. So if you like whisky and your in the area go visit and taste some excellent drams.

  A brilliant distillery tour! This maybe a young distillery but the this family enterprise makes for a warm and perfectly enchanting experience! The tour was led by Ray who was so kind, knowledgeable and good fun. We even had a visit from the owner George, which was a delight! The tastings were generous and accompanied by shortbread... and delicious. 10/10...don't miss if you are near Falkirk.
