This active tour with accredited Tourist Guides, provides a rich overview of the wildlife, historic points of interest and what it is like to live in the Falklands.

We will visit the historic lighthouse at Cape Pembroke and Gypsy Cove to see Magellanic penguins and harbour views.

A brief stop at the iconic ship wreck Lady Elizabeth provides great photographs and an understanding of the geographic importance of the Falklands during the sailing ship days.

During the tour of Stanley we will visit the 1982 and 1914 war memorials, and other points of interest to the West of Stanley.

You will learn about our lifestyle from our well-informed and entertaining guides who ensure your tour is a fun, friendly and memorable experience.

NB: 04/11/2025 Due to an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (aka bird flu) Yorke Bay is currently closed to the public. We are working to extend the tour to both the East (Sapper Hill, Wireless Ridge areas) and the West of Stanley (Cape Pembroke, Surf Bay) to ensure you enjoy the maximum coverage of the Stanley area. While we hope that Yorke Bay will reopen later in the season this can not be guaranteed. We sincerley apologise for the situation which is beyond our control. Lady Elizabeth Shipwreck

Lying at the east end of Stanley Harbour is Stanley's most imposing and iconic shipwreck. Known as Lady Liz, the ship was launched in Sunderland in the UK in 1879 and suffered damage whilst rounding Cape Horn in 1913. She limped into Stanley for repairs but the high cost prevented any being carried out. After various moorings in Stanley Harbour, a violent gale in 1936 forced the Lady Liz into her current resting place. This is a favourite place to get pictures with the back drop of Stanley and the mountains to the West.

The tour representative was easy to find. The tour operators, the tour company owners, were very very friendly. One was a multi generation Falklander and very knowledgeable on everything Falkland and the tour. We saw what we were promised with the most time spent at the most penguin populated stop. The tour operators. were very customer satisfaction oriented.

Our two guides were very informative and entertaining about the history of the Falkland Islands and about the flora and fauna. Our visit to see penguins in the sand dunes was exceptional.

Excellent walk. New van, friendly and attentive guide, distributed gifts, coffee and cookies at the end (does a difference because it was very cold).

Sharon and the driver were excellent hosts. Sharon, a 6th generation resident of the Falkland’s was so knowledgeable, interesting and funny. Great tour - saw so many penguins and well worth the money! They met us at the port and we were off within minutes. Thanks!

Our tender arrival was delayed, but we were greeted with smiles and professionalism. Easily spotted from the pier. Wonderful tour and information. Viewed Gentoo and King penguins, seals, dolphins all at once.

Wow did we enjoy this tour!! Even though it was pouring down rain. Our tour guide and driver were excellent! We had such a great time and their sense of humor was fun for all. They were able to drive us closer to the penguins so the walk to see them was not near as far a walk for us as the people on the buses. We drove past all the sights and were able to get out and get pictures if wanted. I would recommend them to anyone that wants to have a great time, a great tour and for a great price!

This was an amazing way to view, learn and experience the Falkland Islands with a limited amount of time. Wendy and Sharon were a great team, sharing their childhood and life experiences in Stanley….even drove us by their houses. It was thoughtful of Sharon to bake us cookies for our snack. I learned a lot and am thankful.
