5.00Our guide Ayoub provided an unforgettable and highly informative tour of Sarajevo city. Ayoub’s pace and delivery was pitch perfect, allowing us time to ask questions and digest what we had heard. Ayoub is incredibly knowledgeable and generous- speaking passionately and with such care about the horrors of the 90’s conflict, what lead to it and the after effects. We will never forget the tour and it was the best introduction to Bosnia we could have ever asked for.

5.00Did the tour with my daughter when we took a short trip to Sarajevo. Our tour guide Kristijan was very friendly, told us historical contexts and many anecdotes from Sarajevo, Bosnia and his family. Again and again he encouraged us to ask questions, pointed out special features and thus made this approximately 4 hour tour an impressive experience for us. I can only recommend this tour to anyone who wants to learn about the recent history of the country and the city. We will definitely come back to Sarajevo and then treat ourselves to a day tour or two from Meet Bosnia. Hvala Kristijan i Meet Bosnia

5.00We stayed in Sarajevo for 3 days and Bosnia Tours honestly made our trip so much better. We did two tours with them. The first was the Fall of Yugoslavia tour with Armin, and he was awesome. He knows so much about the places we visited, answered all our questions, and gave us great tips on things to do in Sarajevo. The second tour was the Herzegovina tour with Enis, where we visited a few cities and the Kravice Waterfalls. Enis was amazing — super friendly, patient, and really knowledgeable. The trip was around 10 hours long, but it didn’t feel that long at all because it was so enjoyable. Thank you, Bosnia Tours, for such a great experience! We definitely recommend it.

Our guide was a war veteran, very knowledgeable and presented the complex history of Yugoslavia's fall and the Sarajevo siege with perfect balance and respect. The highlights—Yellow Fortress, Tunnel of Hope Museum, Sniper Alley, and the abandoned Olympic bobsled track—were all deeply moving. Highly recommend!

5.00I took this tour with my Canadian husband because I wanted him to truly understand what happened to my home, my people, and my family. I was born in Sarajevo into a mixed marriage and I left Bosnia as a child during the war. I struggle to ask my family about that time, Nd about the war so this tour also helped me piece together parts of my own story. Our guide, Enis, did an exceptional job presenting everything in a humane, factual, thoughtful, and fair way. He was incredibly knowledgeable, sensitive, and intentional with his words, clearly aware of how these stories can shape visitors’ understanding of Bosnia, former Yugoslavia, our people and our politics. The story of this war, as well as its roots and after effects, is hard to tell. While the emotional toll will be forever palpable, explaining the war’s context, resolution, constitutional AND human consequences, and how these will reverberate for generations to come is complex, nuanced and brave. I was deeply moved and genuinely proud of how Enis represented our country and our people, our resilience, beauty, and soul. The tour itself was very well organized and thoughtfully designed. My husband and I travel often and have taken many tours in many countries, and he said this one ranks among the very best. I will absolutely book with Meet Bosnia Tours again. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
