1.0This is listed as a Fanispan Summit tour under the guise that the main focus of this tour is going to be Fanispan. This tour provides you with private transportation to a waterfall, a buffet lunch and a tour guide that does not tour you of Fanispan but assist you as a language guide. The tour guide and driver were late to the pick up location by a half an hour. I chose this early tour time to avoid the tourist crowds. I could have easily rented my own driver and get there early but due to the lack of organization and being late I ended up in the height of the tourist rush. They contacted me the day before about having to purchase separate tickets to Fanispan which is the main focus of this trip. I agreed for them to purchase these tickets in advance but when we got there the guide had to call them for the tickets. This also delayed entrance into the park. This tour should not be titled Fanispan Summit tour but should be labeled as a Warterfall tour along with transportation and lunch. The title of the tour deceives the purchaser of the tour. It is terrible when a tour guide and driver are put in the middle of a dispute. This tour should not be booked if your main attraction is Fanispan. Just hire a driver and go to the window and purchase tickets directly to go to one of Sapa's main attractions. Or hire a driver and purchase tickets online and avoid the Avator service charges...
