For a day you will get away from the crowds, heat, noise and queues. Enjoy a day of nature, incredible views, friendly people, great food and wine!
Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. The name of our farm is Agriturismo Tenuta Chiudendone.
Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn. PLEASE NOTE ! We invite you to spend a relaxing day on our organic hilltop luxury farm in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Our experience starts in Firenze Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. During lunch, we will taste our red and rosé wine together with our extra virgin cold-pressed olive oil. After lunch, you're welcome to kick back in the garden, take a swim in our 20-meter infinity pool filled with salted water, or stroll up to see a remote little church.

5.00The property was amazing. The experience was so fun. Francesco walked us around the farm explaining the growing seasons and them divided us in the garden to pick our vegetables. Once we got in the kitchen, all the food stations were divided into sections and he put us all around and gave us instructions on how to cook everything and we all went to work! It was a chaotic, bustling, truly fun and unique experience. We were all like little bees working for our meal. The table setting was lovely and everything was just beyond delicious. He even gifted us a recipe book of everything we created. For the rest of the afternoon, we socialized at the or in the pool and some took a walk up the hill to see a church where a 92 year old monk was living. It was all wonderful and I highly recommend for families, couples, or singles. There were several teenagers there and they seem to really enjoy it as well.

5.00Our visit was exceptional from beginning to end. Francesco was a wonderful host and exuded pure passion for life and his family business. We felt right at home and wish we could have stayed for a couple of days. We look forward to visiting again someday!

5.00This was my second time booking this experience and it did not disappoint. I originally visited Francesco and Isabella’s family farm in 2019 and it was so memorable that I had to visit again with my family. The tour of the farm was beautiful and Francesco shared so many fun stories about the history of the region and his family. Even the dog and cat joined us for the tour. We loved cooking with the other guests and sharing our travel stories and recommendations with each other. The size of the group was perfect, just large enough that we still got to know one another. Highly recommend visiting this family farm whether you’re traveling alone or with your family. Francesco and his staff were so accommodating for my 7 month old son by preparing a special dish just for him to eat. They also had a wonderful play area for my baby to relax out of the sun. Can’t wait to be back again soon.
If this is the only thing you do in Tuscany, it is enough.

5.00From the moment Luigi met us at the Florence train station with a warm smile and effortless ease, I knew this day was going to be something special. What I didn’t know was that it would become the single most treasured memory of our entire Italy anniversary trip. Francesco met us at the train station for our journey to Tenuta Chiudendone. Heading up to the mountain top homestead, I could tell this was going to be something special. When we arrived, walking through groves of olive trees, walnut trees, and a garden so abundantly full and beautiful it seemed almost unreal — I genuinely felt like I had been sent to heaven. Francesco somehow was able to give us a little taste of his passion and it was so refreshing to learn new things!! This is Tuscany!! Francesco is not just a host. He is a man who has built a life rooted in passion, and he invites you into it completely and without reservation. We gathered ingredients, rolled up our sleeves, and prepared a meal together that was both gourmet and deeply rustic — the kind of food that reminds you what eating is supposed to feel like. My husband, who has never been a wine person in his life, fell completely in love with Francesco’s wine. That alone tells you everything. Meatball the cat and Ant were the most charming bonus guests at the table, and only added to the warmth and magic of the whole experience. Francesco and your family — you opened your home to us. 5.00It was one of the most special experiences I’ve had in Italy. The farm is absolutely beautiful and we felt as if we were visiting friends. We ate all kinds of great food, drank great wine and liquors and we can’t wait to come back! So glad we found this!

5.00What an experience! If you are thinking of booking this I highly recommend that you do. Everything about this experience was seamless and well thought out. Our three year old twins loved the farm just as much as we did. We had a great tour of the farm followed by a great lunch. Francesco was great, very friendly, and knowledgeable. This has been the highlight of our Italy trip!

5.00An unforgettable Tuscan experience you will not regret. The setting is absolutely stunning, with beautiful countryside views. Francesco is warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the food, wine, and local culture. Everything served was exceptionally fresh, with produce picked directly from the farm. The wine was unbelievable too. Kids were made to feel included and comfortable and I'd definitely recommend it for families. Genuinely a wonderful way to experience the heart of Tuscany and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the experience to anyone.

5.00Amazing opportunity! We loved making our homemade meals. Scenery stunning. The best way to see a gem outside of Florence in a quiet and quaint place. Felt right at home with only a few other guests. Highly recommend for the day experience or an overnight experience. We felt right right at home and a bonus was hiking up to see the small church a 15 minute walk away in the area.

5.00This was a wonderful experience! Isabella was very nice and helped us find the platform we were supposed to leave the Firenze S.M. train station from, and Francesco was very friendly. From picking us up at the San Miniato station, to cooking his farm's produce with us, to the unforgettable walk up to a hilltop church we never would have known was there otherwise, he was the consummate host for the entire day. Antonello the dog also accompanied us through most of the day and was an excellent walk-mate. After we lunched and walked we were able to spend the remaining time before our evening train lounging by the pool, and meeting Meatball the cat. Francesco even gave out a small booklet containing the recipes we made and Italian travel recommendations. Overall a stellar day in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Highly recommend!
