For a day you will get away from the crowds, heat, noise and queues. Enjoy a day of nature, incredible views, friendly people, great food and wine!
Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. The name of our farm is Agriturismo Tenuta Chiudendone.
Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn. PLEASE NOTE ! We invite you to spend a relaxing day on our organic hilltop luxury farm in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Our experience starts in Firenze Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. After lunch, you're welcome to kick back in the garden, take a swim in our 20-meter infinity pool filled with salted water, or stroll up to see a remote little church.

5.00This was a wonderful experience! Isabella was very nice and helped us find the platform we were supposed to leave the Firenze S.M. train station from, and Francesco was very friendly. From picking us up at the San Miniato station, to cooking his farm's produce with us, to the unforgettable walk up to a hilltop church we never would have known was there otherwise, he was the consummate host for the entire day. Antonello the dog also accompanied us through most of the day and was an excellent walk-mate. After we lunched and walked we were able to spend the remaining time before our evening train lounging by the pool, and meeting Meatball the cat. Francesco even gave out a small booklet containing the recipes we made and Italian travel recommendations. Overall a stellar day in one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen. Highly recommend!

5.00Today we experienced the true heart and soul of Tuscany at Tenuta Chiudendone — a countryside dream farmhouse nestled amongst rolling hills, vineyards and olive groves near the beautiful town of San Miniato. Our day was hosted by the warm and welcoming Francesco and Isabella, who opened up their home, estate and way of life to us for an unforgettable one-day immersion into authentic Tuscan countryside living. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into another world — peaceful, timeless and deeply connected to nature. We wandered through their vineyards and ancient olive trees, collected fresh vegetables straight from the garden for lunch, tasted their beautiful wines and olive oils, and cooked a delicious seasonal feast together using some of their favourite family recipes. Every part of the experience felt genuine, soulful and filled with so much love 💕 I highly recommend this incredible experience.

5.00What an amazing experience. I felt like Stanley Tucci on his “Tucci in Italy” show being pampered by the wonderful people at Tenuta Chiudendone. A very friendly guide Luigi met us at the main train station in Florence and helped us navigate the confusing process of tickets and such. We were then met at the other end by our wonderful host and owner of the farm, Francesco. What a character! So full of life, friendly and passionate about his farm and his guests experience. He had friendly pets, 2 cats and a lovely dog. We walked through the farm taking in the beautiful views, and picked artichokes, lettuce and onions from the garden. We all made lunch together, I was lucky enough to cut the prosciutto and taste test it as I went of course! We sat down for a sumptuous lunch with never ending tops-ups of Francesco’s yummy Rose and Syrah wines. We were then treated to 3 desserts and home mage Limoncello and Walnut liqueur. Some of the group went for a hike up the mountain to visit the church and the 92yo monk, but I decided to rest by the infinity pool overlooking the Tuscan hillside. What a wonderful experience my family and I will never forget! Thank you Francesco and the team.

5.00Great way to start off the vacation in the mountains. Our affable host walked us around the property before a delicious lunch we made with him. Fresh vegetables, delicious meats and pasta spun up into so many delectable dishes. We enjoyed the other guests and the view of the vineyard while we ate. Everything is to perfection … the food, the farm and the design of the space. Highly recommend and would love to come back.

5.00This was by far my favorite day of our entire trip! The tour was organized well and ran smooth. The villa was stunning, views breathtaking, the area where we cooked was immaculate, and the food was wonderful. If you are coming to Tuscany, this is a must do!
Awesome experience touring a vineyard and preparing a meal. The wine and olive oil were delicious!

5.00Francesco and Isabella have created something incredibly special at Tenuta Chiudendone. They exude warmth and welcome and passion for their life on the hills of this Tuscan estate as they immerse you into an afternoon filled with beautiful vineyard walks following the lead of their sweet dog Antonello, picking fresh veggies from their garden and wine from the cellar, cooking an incredible meal in their kitchen, and enjoying it on their lovely terrace overlooking the vines. Our kids (2 and 6) loved spending time with their dog, and Francesco and Isabella made wonderful accommodations for the kids with a play area filled with great toys my kids loved and high chairs and kid safe plates and cups and simple pasta exactly as my kids preferred. If you have one day in Tuscany, do this! If you have a week, stay at their Airbnb AND do this! We could not have been more pleased. Thank you Francesco and Isabella, and of course Antonello! And thank you to their kids for selecting such good toys to share!

5.0010/10 Experience, highly recommend booking! My wife and I visited Francesco for the Farm to Table Experience in Fall 2024 on our honeymoon and had such an excellent experience we brought back our parents and siblings Spring 2026. Francesco is the best experience host we have ever had. The property, culture, food and conversations are all 10/10.
