For a day you will get away from the crowds, heat, noise and queues. Enjoy a day of nature, incredible views, friendly people, great food and wine!
Our experience starts in Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. The name of our farm is Agriturismo Tenuta Chiudendone.
Upon arrival, we'll walk around the estate so you can see our vineyard and olive grown. We'll visit the gardens to gather ingredients for our lunch, which we'll prepare together. You'll find out how traditional Tuscan cuisine is simple, fresh, and delicious. Depending on the season, we might pick grapes, olives, wild asparagus, wild herbs, or even hunt for prized white truffles in autumn. PLEASE NOTE ! We invite you to spend a relaxing day on our organic hilltop luxury farm in Tuscany, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. Our experience starts in Firenze Santa Maria Novella Central Station where you will meet and we will help you buy the train tickets to San Miniato. The train ride to San Miniato will take 40 minutes. After lunch, you're welcome to kick back in the garden, take a swim in our 20-meter infinity pool filled with salted water, or stroll up to see a remote little church.

5.00We had the great fortune of joining the last experience they hosted this season. Francesco and his support staff were an absolute pleasure, extremely helpful, warm, and welcoming. Preparing and enjoying the meal was a delight - the quantity and quality exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed learning so much about their agricultural practices. Our 6 year-old thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to participate in age-appropriate cooking, explore their vast and picturesque property, and play with their sweet pets - never a bored moment! I would recommend this authentic experience to any person regardless of age and we look forward to doing it again.

5.00Truely an incredible experience. They are so warm and welcoming, making you feel like you are a part of their family!! You can genuinely tell their passion for what they do. We started the day truffle hunting, followed by a tour of their farm and cooking an incredible meal together!! They even gave us a little recipe book which we are so excited to use. This was the perfect day on the countryside!!

5.00My wife was lucky enough to stumble on this experience through Mama Loves Italy and it’s fair to say it exceeded our wildest expectations. We were met at Florence station by Luigi who helped us book our tickets, took us to our train and clearly articulated which station to disembark. We were then met by Francesco who took us to his working farm. First stop was white truffle hunting with the dog Lucia. We were so lucky that he found two truffles in a short space of time. The kids loved chasing after him as he sniffed his way around the forest. From there Francesco showed us his working farm which had both olive trees and vineyards. The perfect combination. You could tell how much he loved what he did and we found him engaging both for there parents and the kids. We lucked out with our group of 3 families where all parents and kids were put to work making several dishes overlooking the most amazing Tuscan scenery you could ever imagine. Lunch was served with Francesco’s amazing wine overlooking the region. The kids enjoyed tasting what they had made and then had the opportunity to run around his property with the beloved dog Antonello. We finished the day seeing how authentic extra virgin olive oil was made. If you’re in Italy make this a must stop experience it’s certainly one we will never forget.

5.00An amazing day spent with Francesco at his Tuscan hilltop farm, Tenuta Chiudendone, and one our family will treasure. We were met at Florence train station by Isabella who arranged our tickets for the 45m journey to San Miniato where Francesco greeted us - all ran seamlessly. The location of the farm is stunning, perched atop a hill with endless views of the rolling Tuscan countryside. Collecting and preparing the food was the precursor to a delightful lunch shared with new friends who completed our group, and complimented by the generous hospitality including delicious food, olive oils and wines. We had our 10 month old grandson with us and he was so well catered for with toys and a specially prepared meal - nothing was a bother! Highly recommended if you're looking to escape the crowds and experience the Tuscan countryside. Thank you so much Francesco and Isabella.

5.00I could not recommend this experience more—we loved every single moment of it. We went on a rainy day, and Francesco still made the most of it. The food and wine were divine, and Francesco masterfully explained the process behind everything to do with maintaining the farm, including showing us around the vineyard and olive oil extraction plant (and how to taste real EVOO!). The food was so delicious and it was a lot of fun to make it as a group. Lorenzo arranged for helping us get from the Florence train station to the farm seamlessly. Additionally, Lorenzo made us feel right at home; it felt like catching up with old friends. The view on the farm is also breathtaking. Lorenzo also had a setup of toys ready to go for our toddler, and even brought out a candle to celebrate the toddler’s birthday. This is a great experience and I’m looking forward to doing it again!

5.00This was the highlight of our Italy trip. My husband and I felt so welcomed and man was the food good! I truly can’t believe how good! This class by far beat another cooking class we did, as other experiences are gimmicky. But this was so lovely. A family farm, a family table, a walk and the best wine and olive oil you’ll ever have. I can’t wait to come back with my kids!!!

5.00Our favorite Tuscany experience! We went with our children who are 9 and 11 years old. The farm and vineyards/gardens are beautiful. The experience to help prepare such a fresh and delicious meal was so fun. The wine was absolutely amazing-so much so that we bought bottles to ship back home. The warmth and kindness that the owners showed to my and my family was something we will never forget! Definitely the highlight of our Italy trip!

5.00We were so excited to do this experience & it absolutely surpassed our expectations! This was for our 40th wedding anniversary & it is truly a lifetime memory forever! Francesco & Isabela, made us feel right at home & it was breathtaking to walk the property, so much so that we must go back!!! The food, the knowledge, the wine, the olive oil , amazing!!!
