We visited three restaurants and had pastries at a fourth location. Our tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual. The food was fabulous and we enjoyed visiting with another couple on the tour. We were able to try traditional Portuguese foods such as Arroz de Marisco. The wines were wonderful and we ended our meal with Port.

Acacia was a lovely tour guide. We tried various types of tapas and wine. Accommodations were made for me being vegetarian. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide, Alessandra was truly a wonderful guide who was very personable and fun. She embarked us on a delightful culinary adventure with Portuguese tapas and local wines. It was as a nice introduction to Faro's vibrant food scene.

Our guide was charming and very helpful at navigating Faro. We met a wonderful family from the UK and enjoyed laughs and delicious food and wine together.

We did a food and tapas walking tour in Faro and it was an absolute highlight of our trip. Our guide, Acássia, was fantastic warm, engaging, and full of great stories about Faro and its food culture. The wine pairings were a standout. Each stop introduced us to a different local wine that matched beautifully with the tapas, and Acássia explained the background in a way that made it both fun and memorable. It was such a great way to discover Portuguese wine traditions alongside delicious food. By the end, we felt like we’d not only eaten and drunk well but also learned so much. Highly recommend this tour, especially with Acássia as your guide!

Alessandra, the owner, rang me in the afternoon before the tour to see if we had any dietary needs or allergies. She also wanted to know what we wanted to get out of the evening so they could custom build an evening for us. We met the guide Acacia at the agreed time and place and after introductions she took us to a music venue, something we'd requested and something we'd probably never have found ourselves. After a few drinks watching the band's first set she took us on to the first meal with wine, which was fantastic. From there on for local sweet treats at another food outlet, before heading into the backstreets to an award winning restaurant that we'd never have found by ourselves. Here we had another meal with, and of course, more wine. Acacia was wonderful and couldn't have provided a better evening. I can't recommend this tour enough.
Very special and nice experience! Just book it!

The tour is amazing and everybody should do it arriving in Faro! You get a lot of food and can try all the portuguese dishes you always wanted to try or discover new ones. It is recommended to be hungry. The places are all very good! The tour is accompanied with local wines and at the end you do a classic wine tasting where you can learn a lot about wines or also have very funny conversations with the wine expert. The wines are of course very high quality. Alessandra is a very pleasant guide and you get a Lot of information about Portugal, Faro, the cuisine, typical things, events and the people. You can talk about anything with her.

It was a great experience the host was very knowledgeable about the local area and cuisine. We visited some great hidden gems with amazing food.. the host was very friendly and easy to spend time with . The final wine tasting with a local expert was really fab !! Highly recommended !!

We really enjoyed this food and wine tour. Both restaurants served lovely authentic food including delicious garlic prawns, fish stew with rice, salmon tartare, fish croquettes and chorizo. The final stop was wine tasting, what a hidden gem, our host was so knowledgeable and we tasted lovely local wines. Alessandro was a kind and knowledgable host and our group of six had fun.
