We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines

The tour time after 3 pm was marvelous!! The guide communicated so much historical information with a good flow of chronological events in building the Structures.

A must see attraction of a stunning piece of imagination by a genius! A cathedral created inside out. A stunning visual ecstasy of colour and light from inside the cathedral. Our guide was knowledgeable in the purpose and meaning of the Sagrada.

Location of meeting point is perfect. Tour operator seems knowledgeable. Here’s what we did not understand… our tour of La Sagrada Familia was considered “Bilingual”. Perhaps half of our group were Spanish speakers, the rest were English speakers. The tour guide shared all information in BOTH languages. So each language group waited while tour guide repeated info in the second language. You guessed it - this took twice as long as a single-language tour. Needless to say, we had little interest in this. The tour site (inside & out) was very crowded, very chaotic, and we were very tired. Full disclosure, we did not stay for much of the guided tour and simply toured the cathedral on our own. It was breathtaking and we were thankful that we made the decision to tour this site. Don’t miss this gorgeous cathedral and pay attention to the language of the tour you book!
