We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines

The tour was scheduled for 3:30 and I was called at 1:20 and told it was cancelled because she couldn’t access our tickets due to computer problems. Then I booked a “sagrada familia golden hour tour,” paid for it, then received a call that they could only take three out of our party of four because he didn’t have enough tickets. I desperately called viator and luckily got connected with someone who wanted to help. After I got the first tour cancelled and the refund process started she managed to find me a private tour. I booked it and paid on the phone. Then I received a message on what’s app that the price quoted was wrong so they had to cancel it and I had to go through the process to pay again. I paid a lot more money than I did in the first place for the private tour. It ended up being a great tour but I should not have a been put through all of that in order to get tickets. I will be looking for other tour companies in the future because when we were in Rome, our 8:30 tour of the colosseum got moved to 9:30. The guides we had were amazing. The booking process was terrible.

The tour was canceled last minute. No one reached out prior to communicate this. We spent time getting to the meeting point and only found out then that it was canceled.

Viator said by email, we had four tickets booked at 9am July 12, and my card was charged, but when we arrived the staff said we didn’t have tickets. Staff said we could possibly be fit in at 3:30pm. We advised that would not work but they said if we wait around for a few minutes we might be able to get fit in due to no-shows. We got four tickets, two for one group, 2 for a second group - our party of four needed to split up. Overall, the tour was fine. No problems.

Amazing basilica. The thought and dedication that went into building this beautiful house of Worship is just incredible.
