We cannot predict when La Sagrada Familia will be crowded. In general, long lines are common at major attractions in summer, on most weekends, and during peak travel periods throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, local holidays). The skip-the-line ticket enables you to skip the line if indeed there is one. Unfortunately there is no way to foresee the days and times that produce lines

All visitors must pass through metal detectors at the security check point, so please expect to wait 20-30 minutes to clear security

As it is a Catholic church, visitors must dress appropriately, is requested for entrance to the Sagrada Familia Basilica. No tank tops, strapless shirts, short shorts or sandals will be accepted. Also Visitors will not be allowed to enter with special clothing to celebrate any sort of festivities.

Please, be at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure time

Failure to show up at the established check-in time may entail losing the tour.

The Sagrada Familia kindly requests that visitors refrain from wearing or displaying any religious symbols upon entry. Please note that failure to comply may result in denial of entry.

Admission staff may request official documentation to verify the children’s age (ID, Passport, etc). If this documentation is not provided, the payment of the difference corresponding to the adult rate may be required.

Even with Fast Track, it is very crowded and quite a wait to get inside. Our tour guide, Victor, was excellent! I learned so much history from him.

Our guide, Uma, was amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and funny. She quickly and easily engaged the whole group in the learning experience. Her English was excellent, and her presentation of the history of the design, costs, problems and construction issues going forward was easy to understand, and she also pointed out how to see the crypt and other areas, before we left the property, since once you exit, you cannot return without paying a new fee and waiting in the long public line. Well worth the price for such a great guide and a fast, easy entrance. Everyone must see the inside to truly "get" the Sagrada Familia.
Fantastic destination if you get headphones and understand the guide.

Guide was very knowledgeable. Talked a bit fast in English with his strong accent hard to understand alot of the time. He switched between English and another language very quickly so difficult to tell if he was doing second translation or still telling story. I had to use walking sticks this visit and needed to sit down alot. Which was difficult as seating was obviously away from the group but my husband and I didn't get a hearing apparatus to hear the guide. So if you weren't standing by his side you didn't hear alot to begin with. As I had to sit along way away I missed 99% of the stories, explaination and history which real defeated buying the tour. Other tours had taken our 2 sets of head phones and the guide could not procure us any. I am sure I would have been extremely happy if I could have heard all his wisdom. So for me not worth what I paid and my poor husband was so stressed as he could hardly understand what was being explained and had to keep looking for me as the group moved on.

Fantastic tour. It’s a little long, but there is so much to see that it can’t be helped. Definitely recommend.

The guide was knowledgeable. We didn’t realize that it was a bilingual tour. He would speak 1 sentence in English then the same sentence in Spanish which was very confusing. It would be better if he spoke the paragraph in English the the paragraph in Spanish. We won’t be taking a bilingual tour again.
