On a recent trip to Portugal to celebrate a BIG birthday with my husband who has some mobility issues, we were extra lucky to have found David Monteiro, a tour guide from Lisbon. He picked us up following our Douro River cruise in Porto and drove us to Lisbon stopping at many sea side stops. He never rushed us and took as much time as we required. His English and manners were impeccable and his local knowledge of all Portugal was extensive. David made our trip better than we could have expected. Thank you David for your kindness, your spotless van, and your assistance with us.

It was very good and moving to walk in the places where the little shepherds walked and take this trip back in time. The village is small but beautiful. Products (souvenirs, books, etc.) have less choice than in Fátima but, in general, are more economical.

Daniel was the best possible guide/driver to take us to Fátima. He shared his knowledge of the history as he carefully drove us to the sites and gave us plenty of time to experience them for ourselves. He arrived early and drove a new, comfortable VW van equipped with WiFi and provided us with as much water as we needed. He also generously offered to show us other sites (Obidos, Nazare) without additional charge, but we were too tired from our previous weeks of traveling to accept. He is a kind, friendly and genuinely nice person to meet and I cannot imagine a better experience than we had with Daniel.

Pedro was a great guide. He was very attentive to not get separated. He was knowledgeable and very informative. He was a safe driver and good with time management to get us back to the ship on time.
