Our tourist guide will pick you up at your hotel or a matched location and transport you in one of our vehicles to the Dona Marta community where you will be welcomed by our local guide. As you travel all the paths of this famous community you will have the opportunity to know all the historical, cultural, administrative and daily curiosities of its residents. In addition to many photos, you will have the opportunity to get to know where the footage of the video clip “they don’t care about us” by the King of Pop Michael Jackson was made. It will be a unique opportunity to talk to locals, kill curiosities and visit some of the social projects of this community. This mediated visit has an interpreter guide in the following languages: English, Spanish, French and Portuguese. For more comfort during the experience we suggest wearing comfortable clothes but closed shoes. Activity not recommended for people under 10 years old and people with mobility restrictions.

After searching them in your hotel (Zona Sul, Barra da Tijuca or Centro do Rio), check availability outside these regions, our tour guide driver will lead you to the entrance of this community. In addition to our Cadastur guide you will be accompanied by an official native community guide who will guide you and explain all the historical, cultural, administrative and daily curiosities of this famous region of our city. To make the most of this experience, we offer guides in English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Tilted plane (transport by cable car) is included in this experience but on maintenance days, Mondays and Tuesdays may be turned off for safety reasons, which does not prevent the visitation that will follow the stairs. Tour not recommended for people under 10 years old and people with physical disabilities. We offer free plastic covers on rainy days. We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and closed shoes.

5.00RTT did an amazing job taking care of our group! Agostino did everything he could to make sure we had an incredible trip. He was flexible with the schedule in order to accommodate our needs. He made sure got the most out of this once in a lifetime experience for many of the students in our group. I would highly recommend using the company for you adventure to Rio.

5.00We took Tour Service for the two couples which lasted all day. We visited Sugarloaf, the Christ, the staircase of Selarom, Sambodromo outside, Maracana also outside. Beautiful tour. Our guide Agustin was splendid. Super friendly and loving. Servicial. He explained a lot about each place. Each time I recommend places to take pictures and tell us small data of each part of the tour. He knows the story well and transmits it with great passion highlighting important facts that marked the moment and what then came next. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed it. We recommend it 100%. The vehicle comfortable and new. Book early and don’t wait at the last minute, you are in demand for good recommendations.

5.00We booked a tour of Rio and arranged to be picked up at the Cruise terminal. We were greeted by Agostinho who was our driver and guide for the day. He spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. He took us to the Selaron Steps, Christ the Redeemer and Cable Car up Sugar Loaf Mountain before dropping us off with our luggage at our hotel in Copacabana. Agostinho had pre-purchased Skip the Line tickets for us which saved us queuing for the main attractions. We had a quality air conditioned Mercedes minibus and cold water was available on the vehicle throughout the day. Agostinho was so relaxing to be with and the day in Rio was the highlight of our holiday in South America. If you need looking after professionally don’t hesitate to use RTT.

5.00Professionalism and kindness at all times, Agostiño treated us as if we were his family. We hire airport and hotel transfers, city tour of RIO and round-trip transfers to BUZIOS (all private tour for 6 people). At all times he kept us informed of everything we had been seeing, he offered us water during all the trips, he was really super kind. The tour we took was spectacular, super complete. Even though we were with children, it was very bearable. I 100% recommend Agostiño and his company to carry out any type of activity and transfer that is needed since they are super responsible, compliant and offer a service adapted to each family.
BEST tour of Rio you'll ever have! Agostinho is the best!

5.00This is a long overdue review of Rio Taxi & Transfer. We've gone on 2 city tours with Agostinho, once in 2019 and again in 2021. We also took advantage of the transportation to and from the airport and our hotel. RTT was extremely responsive via email and WhatsApp. The cost of our tours + tranfers were very fairly priced in comparison to other companies, but RTT's customer service was far superior! International payment was very easy and credit card payments made in person had no issue. They accept all major credit cards, even AMEX which was a plus! Every vehicle we rode in was new and well maintained - they even had snacks and beverages on board for us. The drivers stayed with the vehicles at all times and if someone wanted to skip a destination, they had the option to stay and rest on board in the air conditioning. The drivers also assisted with loading and unloading our 20+ pieces of luggage to and from the airport. Agostinho is fluent in English which was extremely important to us when bringing along friends and family from the US who had never visited Brazil. Agostinho was even able to conduct the tour in both Portuguese and English so that all could participate. We kept to our itinerary, but did have the flexibility to extend or reduce the amount of time spent at each stop. Agostinho is extremely knowledgeable, professional, but most of all kind. We thought we were just going on a tour, but ended up befriending an amazing guy! The tours were so relaxed, peaceful, and fun. I can't wait to book our next visit this year!

It is obvious that Agostinho really enjoys what he does and strives to provide excellent service. 5.00It was a wonderful experience, I contacted Augustin from Guatemala two days before arriving in Rio and Fabianna helped me in a matter of 2 hours to coordinate airport pickup and day tour transfer. We arrived at 7am in Rio and when we left they were already waiting for us. Super recommended and leave a charger in the vehicle that I spend leaving Augustin to the hotel... highly valued.... They were our first contact with Rio and without a doubt the best, they make you feel at home and in family.
