Broadway Market
Broadway Market, located in the heart of Fells Point, is one of the first public markets in Baltimore, dating back to 1786. One of six remaining public markets left in Baltimore, the markets were once the city’s major source of food for the growing city. In the early days the market yards were equipped with stalls, barns and a weighing platform to accommodate the livestock the farmers brought into town to sell. On market days farmers came to Fell’s Point by wagon, boat, and ferry from nearby counties seeking an outlet for their products. Broadway Market, the oldest of the existing markets in Baltimore, has a long tradition of serving the residents of Fell’s Point and Baltimore.
Robert Long House
The Robert Long House is a rowhouse in the Fell's Point neighborhood of Baltimore. The house is the oldest known surviving urban residence within the city of Baltimore, built in 1765. It was built as the home of Robert Long, a local Baltimore merchant, and today serves as the home of the Fells Point Preservation Society, who saved it from demolition in 1969 by purchasing it and restoring it.

What made this food tour truly exceptional was its thoughtful blend of history and flavor, delivered with the gracious charm of a local, Mary Margaret, who celebrates Baltimore with genuine pride. Her rich knowledge and storytelling brought the streets and architecture to life, turning an ordinary walk into a living narrative of the city’s vibrant past. If you want to experience Baltimore like a local—tasting its best bites while hearing stories that stay with you long after the last crumb—this walking food tour is not to be missed. Generous portions ensured every guest left satisfied, with no need for dinner afterward.

We met in the square on a beautiful day. We walked in a few block square and learned a lot about Fells Point. It’s a great area for spending a day. We went to 4 restaurants. All were amazing. There was so much food that our group could not even finish it all. That is quite the feat. I definitely would recommend. My friends had never done a food tour and thought it was amazing.

Mary Margaret was our tour guide. She knows everyone in Fells Point. We stopped at four places to eat. The first was appetizers the second two were main courses and the last dessert. Food was served family style to share. Fells Point is a very safe and clean neighborhood in Baltimore. Highly recommend the tour.

A great way to spend an afternoon in Baltimore. The "Mayor of Fells Point," Mary Margaret was our guide! She is a resident of the area and takes pride in showing it off. There were three food stops and one for a dessert/cocktail - all excellent. Enough food that we skipped dinner that evening. This was our second Charm City food tour and I highly recommend it.

What a great time! Mary was so knowledgeable about the area. Most food tours last about 2 hours (we've been on several!) We were enjoying our food and the others that came so much. Mary let us take our time and we were together for 3.5 hours. She really provided a great time and the food we tried was excellent!

The food was interesting and good but nothing that would make me want to return to these restaurants. Mary Margaret was an excellent guide. I appreciated her stories about Fell’s Point history.
