This was an amazing experience into the forest, learning about local culture and folklore. Our guide Alex was extremely knowledgeable and showed us around the woods. We even started a small fire and ate marshmallows. Overall very memorable and will definitely do it again.

Superb hike in the snowy forest with a guide at the top who knows the area as his pocket and told us lots of anecdotes and gave a lot of info about nature and landscapes... we recommend!! The little extra: a campfire in the snow! We loved it.

This is a great little adventure! It was very relaxing and Alex, the guide, had a lot of information to share about the area. He was great. For those who have not been snowshoeing, this would be a great introduction! And for those who have been before, this is a nice way to see a short hiking trail and some beautiful ice formations. Good for older kids

After a few minutes walking along the ski trails we went into the quiet forest where we made our own tracks in the fresh powder. Beautiful experience— I was glad we got into the woods and off the beaten path as much as we did. Guide was very friendly and mixed it up a bit. He took breaks along the hike to be sure everyone kept the pace. He described things we saw as we hiked over various terrains. Tips- it’s a good hike so layer and be sure you can unzip your outer layer. They don’t provide poles so if you’re unsure about hiking, BYO or ask them if they have some for you. We crossed some ice and streams.

Guide took us on a hike because there was no snow. Still fun to walk around the mountain but a different than planned experience.

I was traveling solo, and that was not a problem. The others in the group, and our guide, Richard, welcomed me right in. We all checked in with one another during our snowshoeing experience in the forested trails to make sure we were all doing fine. It was hard physical exertion in some places as we hiked up and down the mountain trails, and, in some instances, forged our own trail! Our guide knew just when to slow down or stop to let us rest and to point out some interesting sights in nature. He gave us helpful hints on navigating some unique terrain, offering to assist us as necessary. His fire-starting skills, musical skills, and degree of hospitality are second to none! It was a really fun expedition.
